A lounge-type chair, particularly adapted for rest and therapeutic purposes, which includes means to impart high frequency vibrations to the chair and consequently to the occupant, and which means also produces audible music to relax, soothe, and entertain such occupant.
A sound frequency reproduction system and apparatus has a chair for a human. A transducer is vibrated by a sound signal of appropriate frequency. The vibrating shaft of the transducer is directly fitted to the framework of the chair. The sound signal is provided to an acoustic device, including a speaker, located near the chair.
A body-sensible swinging and vibrating apparatus is provided for enhancing the feeling of presence while a user is listening to the music or is using the playing unit. In the body-sensible swinging and vibrating apparatus, an arm is hung at the central lower portion of a swinging and vibrating stand (a seat) as well as an iron core is attached to said arm, the upper position of the arm is rotatively supported above the iron core to enable the swinging and vibrating stand to be inclined in every direction, a plurality of electromagnets are placed peripherally in the horizontal direction of the iron core. When sound or picture is outputted for audio, movies, video games or the like, the electromagnets are driven by the swinging signal and vibrating signal that are harmonized with the picture or the sound, and the swinging and vibrating stand is activated by said swinging signal and said vibrating signal.
A chair or bed consists of a base structure forming a closed, external housing and a body-supporting means which cooperates with the housing to provide a chamber which is closed but for pressure relief openings. One or more loudspeakers is mounted in the chamber facing the body-supporting means, and each speaker is operatively connected to an amplifier so that it may produce vibrations within the chamber which are in the audible frequency range, and which are transmitted through the body-supporting means to an occupant thereof. The amplifier is of standard type which functions either with a radio receiver or with a phonograph, and which has a volume control for varying the intensity of the vibrations and tone controls for varying the output as between bass and treble.
A music vibration table and a system used to control the table and analyze vibration distributions on the surface of the table are used for chronic and acute pain therapy.
A health promoting device. The device comprises a chair or a bed with speakers incorporated therein. The speakers are disposed against the inside sur faces of the seat and back of the chair, and the top surface of the bed, so that the openings of the speakers will be directed toward a human body resting therein.
