Abstract
An exerciser and body massage device for massaging and kneading the torso or any appendage thereof by means of resilient rollers carried by a frame comprising opposed, rigid, U-shaped units with at least a pair of rollers rotatably mounted on the bow of each unit and having the ends of the legs telescoped and normally urged by spring means to apply a massaging pressure to the body when manipulated. The telescoped portions of the units provide parallel hand grips for manipulating the device.

6033372 - Hand held massaging device with biased rollers - Owned by Tarbet; John (San Francisco, CA)

A non-electric hand held massaging device for massaging a persons hands, arms, feet and legs. The device consists of a pair of opposed rigid rollers, each with a plurality of resilient protrusions radiating outwardly from the surface the rollers. The rollers terminate in shafts which are held in tracks located on either side of the rollers. A circular handle surrounds the tracks and rollers making it convenient for a user to hold the device in a variety of positions. A pair of elastic cords is located in the hollow space formed inside the track portion and the handle portion. The elastic cords terminate in shaft holders which connect to the shaft ends of the rollers. The elastic cords are placed in such a way as to create a spring tension between the two rollers so that when a user inserts his or her hand or foot between the rollers, he or she receives an invigorating massage caused by the action of the many resilient tips of the roller surface impinging of the users skin. A removable cover located on the top of the track and handle same allows the user to adjust the spring tension and to remove and replace the rollers.

3814085 - MASSAGING DEVICE

A body massager including a frame which extends about a user's body and is movable upwardly and downwardly relative thereto, and carries a series of circularly spaced rollers for contacting and massaging the body, with the rollers being spring urged inwardly against the body to follow its contours.

3759250 - MASSAGING DEVICE

A device for massaging various parts of the human body, especially the arms and legs, to reduce and firm said parts, including a frame in which a pair of rollers are rotatively mounted in spaced apart, substantially in parallel relation to one another. The frame includes extensibly mounted end portions, each carrying a roller, for varying the spacing between the rollers to enable the rollers to straddle portions of the body of different cross sectional sizes, such as the thighs, calves, upper arms and forearms. Springs connect the rollers to the frame and yieldably urge the rollers toward one another in their different adjusted positions, for applying a yieldable compressive force to the body portion being massaged.

5643182 - Roller massager

An apparatus for applying rolling massaging pressure to opposite sides of a bodily extremity. Two parallel tension rods extend through two spaced shafts having massaging rollers rotatably mounted on the shafts between the tension rods. One shaft is fixed in use to the tension rods and compression springs on ends of the tension rods beyond the second shaft bias the shaft mounted rollers toward each other. At least one shaft has extended ends to act as handles for manipulating the apparatus. The initial distance between the rollers can be adjusted before use. A latch is provided to hold the rollers well apart during insertion of a bodily extremity between the rollers, then release to allow the compression spring loaded pressure to be applied.

5803916 - Body and joints massage device - Owned by Vital-Tech Ltd. (Sede Boqer,IL)

A body and joints massage device having changeable massage heads to obtain selected stroking, rubbing and/or kneading massaging effects of all body parts including body joints. The body and joints massage device comprising a shaft housing engaging a main rotating shaft, the shaft housing being formed suitable to grip by a user and may be engaged with types of massage heads. One type includes actively rotating and actively self rotating massage elements each is equipped with passively rotating rollers for body stroking and rubbing massage effects. Another type includes actively rotating, flexible and/or extended massage elements each also performs an active reciprocal linear or arc movement for body and/or joints kneading massage effect. Yet another type includes actively rotating extended massage elements, each also performs an active reciprocal arc movement for body and joints massage.
