A bottle assembly for use in the convenient storage and dispensing of beverages of the character used in restaurants and bars to make mixed drinks. The bottle assembly is compact, easy to use, and permits the smooth dispensing of the beverage contained within the container portion of the assembly in a rapid and efficient manner. Additionally, the bottle assembly embodies a unique handle design for gripping by the user which enables beverages to be poured from the container in an ergonomically sound manner so that undue stresses on the hand and wrist of the user are substantially avoided.
A tea kettle includes a tea kettle body having a spout, a handle base removably mounted to the tea kettle body and having a bore for receiving the spout and an engaging block, and a handle removably mounted to the handle base and including a hollow member formed at a lower end thereof, the hollow member having an engaging slot defined therein for releasably receiving the engaging block of the handle base.
A kettle for heating water or other liquid has a lid and lid actuator to move the lid between open and closed positions. The lid actuator may be connected to the container and movable relative to the opening about a pivot that is below a pivot about which the lid may move between the closed and open positions. The lid actuator may also lock the lid in position, such as in the open or closed position. The lid and lid actuator may also be arranged for movement independent of each other.
