5520561 - Pool float and method of making same

A pool float (10) and method of joining a generally rectangular sheet (31) of netting and an elongated generally cylindrical flotation member (20) into the pool float (10) by forming sleeve segments from the sheet of netting (31) and deforming and captively engaging the flotation member (20) in a generally U-shaped configuration within the sleeve segments.

6840830 - Buoyant ring lounger - Owned by Harlan; Matthew (Clive, IA)

A buoyant lounger. The buoyant lounger has an outer loop constructed of a plurality of releasably secured resilient foam sections. A resilient containment band is placed within the outer loop and a plurality of mesh chairs are coupled between the containment band and the outer loop to produce a floating, buoyant lounger, which can accommodate a plurality of users. The buoyant lounger may be quickly and easily disassembled for transport and storage.

5580129 - Portable folding chair

A portable folding chair that is provided with a pair of telescoping side mounting members each made up of an inner and outer telescoping tube that are prevented from having sliding movement relative to each other when the chair is in its erected state, in order to stabilize the chair when sat upon. The outer tube constitutes the upper tube so that any sand or dirt entering into the interior of the telescoping members will fall right out again. The front support legs are sloped forwardly to allow for the chair to be more fully collapsed.

7223151 - Rigid ballon

The rigid balloon has a chamber to hold lighter-than-air gas portions to retain a structural member or members and a separate light gas is filled into the chamber through a valve in the balloon. Structural members are inserted into the portion to help retain the desired shape of the balloon. The structural members also provide a counterbalancing weight which prevents the balloon from floating upward. Thus, the balloon, once released into the air, will retain its shape and remain floating at the height from which it was released unless repositioned.

6485344 - Collapsible flotation device - Owned by Gray Matter Holdings, LLC (Baltimore, MD)

A collapsible flotation device has an uncollapsed configuration and a collapsed configuration. The device includes a spring which is forced to coil in upon itself by folding to achieve the collapsed configuration of the device and which is biased towards the uncoiled configuration. The spring is located along the perimeter of the device in a pocket formed along the perimeter of a panel of flexible material or on the external perimeter of the device. Also located within the pocket are one or more inflation chambers which are inflated to provide buoyancy. Additional or alternate pockets which include inflatable chambers may be located in the central portion of the flexible panel.
