A device for exercising the lower torso and legs including a rotatable platform and a pair of foot pedals rotatably mounted on the platform. Locking elements are provided to selectively and individually lock the platform or either pedal against rotation. Each pedal is mounted off center on a rotatable adjusting disc for varying the distance between the pedals.
Apparatus for providing exercise to muscles used in skiing. A pair of foot platforms are provided which are affixed by rocker assemblies above a pair of first platform members. The first platform members are each rotatively mounted to a base. Biasing springs interconnect the first platform members. Anchor means are provided for securing the tips of ski poles held by the user.
An exercise device includes a base plate, a turning disc mounted above the base plate for rotary and orbital movement with respect thereto, and bearings interposed between the base plate and turning disc. A cover is attached to the turning disc and is adapted to support the weight of a user who imparts rotary and orbital movement to the cover and thereby to the turning disc. The turning disc has therethrough a central opening. A device is supported by the base plate and cooperates with the edge of the opening in the turning disc to limit the range of orbital movement of the turning disc with respect to the base plate. An adjusting device is associated with the limiting device for selectively adjusting the range of the orbital movement of the turning disc.
An exercise machine which includes support structure which is pivotally movable about a main axis and first and second substantially co-planar footpads which are mounted to the support structure and which are movable relatively to the support structure.
A body exercising device having two spaced, freely rotatable, removable platforms for carrying out body twisting exercises by positioning the feet on the platforms, the platforms positioned on a step-up base between two parallel hand-gripping bars for use in the performance of twisting as well as other types of exercises for conditioning of the body.
A stepping exerciser includes a base having a frame, a lever having a middle portion pivotally secured to the frame and having two ends, and two foot pedals rotatably attached to the ends of the lever to rotatably support users. The stepping exerciser includes a simplified and compact structure that is excellent for storing and transportation purposes, and includes rotatable foot pedals for comfortably supporting users.
