A resealable container including a body portion, a threaded cover disposed in sealing relation with the body portion, at least one elongated segment of fracturable pressure sensitive adhesive tape having first and second ends secured lengthwise across the cover and body portion, and a severable label at least partially surrounding the body portion and overlapping the tape at about the body portion.
A closure system is provided for a threaded container. A threaded closure cap has an annular skirt which engages a resilient gasket that is stretched over the bottle neck. The resilient gasket overlies a cap support flange which extends from the neck. Downward axial movement of the cap with respect to the container provides a vertical compressive force against the resilient gasket by the cap skirt. A heat shrinkable outer member surrounds the closure cap and provides a tamperproof seal with respect to the container.
A new film seal for providing a seal which allows a user to easily ascertain whether a roll of film has been exposed or is a new roll of film. The inventive device includes an elongate strip with an adhesive provided on one of the surfaces of the strip. The adhesive is adapted for adhesively coupling the first surface of the strip to an object. One of the ends of the strip has a lifting tab adapted for aiding the detachment of the strip from an object.
A blister-type package having extended edges that serve as tear-opening guidelines for outside-applied tape that bonds said edges together, and a method for sealing and unsealing the packages.

A container having a tamper evident closure structure. An open top container is closed by a removable cap which includes a skirt secured to the outside of the upper edge of the container. A shrink band encircles the container at the junction between the skirt and the container body. A label encircles the container with its upper portion overlapping and adhered to the shrink band such that removal of the shrink band tears away the upper portion of the label.
