In a switch device, a bendable mounting piece is extended from the switch body, which is abutted against the mounting surface of a base and secured to the latter with a screw, the switch body includes a positioning portion which is abutted against a positioning surface which is set back from the mounting surface, thus forming a step, and a leaf spring is spread over the outer side surface of the mounting piece and the outer side surface of the switch body which, when tightened together with the mounting piece, urges the switch body so that the positioning portion of the switch body is moved towards the positioning surface of the switch mounting unit.

5434376 - Snap-fit terminal assembly - Owned by Square D Company (Palatine, IL)

The present invention provides a terminal and base for connecting a circuit through a fusible switch. The base has a plurality of undercut prongs upstanding therefrom and an interlock snap resiliently attached thereto. The prongs are positioned on the base to prevent movement vertically and in at least one direction horizontally. The snap is positioned on the base to prevent movement in the remaining horizontal directions. The terminal includes a generally planar body made of conductive material. The body has a plurality of edges adapted to insert into the undercut prongs. The terminal positions an opposing edge on the body opposite the plurality of edges. The opposing edge is adapted to abut one end of the interlock snap. The terminal includes a first and second means for electrically and mechanically connecting the terminal to the circuit.

3708642 - RELAY BASE APPARATUS HAVING A RETAINING CLIP MOUNTED THEREON - Owned by Hollingsead-Pryor Enterprises, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA)

A relay base apparatus having means for receiving outwardly flexible legs of a retaining clip. The retaining clip comprises a top wall adapted to extend over the relay and a pair of legs extending downwardly from opposite sides of the wall to retain the relay therebetween. The lower extremities of the legs are outwardly flexible and are adapted to engage clip receiving means located on the base to form an integral unit therewith.

4150273 - Enclosed circuit protective device assembly - Owned by General Electric Company (New York, NY)

A molded case circuit breaker having a raised escutcheon case portion through which its operating handle protrudes and a mounting shoulder at each end is accommodated in an enclosure having a removable frontal cover in which an opening is provided. An elongated sheet metal bracket is slideably mounted within the enclosure and has a hook for engaging one of the breaker mounting shoulders and resilient latch releaseably engaging the other breaker mounting shoulder. The breaker and bracket are slideably positioned as a unit to register the breaker escutcheon case portion with the cover opening for protrusion therethrough in close fitting relation.

5138121 - Auxiliary contact mounting block - Owned by Siemens Aktiengesellschaft (Berlin & Munich,DE)

An auxiliary contact mounting block for electromagnetic switching devices, having a housing comprising two shells, a hook, which is able to mate with a marginal ledge of the switching device while facing the switching device during mounting, and a ratchet, which latches with parts of the switching device in the mounted condition. The ratchet and the hook are premolded as whole pieces on respective ones of the two shells. A bezelled crossbar is premolded in front of the entry slot for the supply leads on the shell with the ratchet so that the entry slot is divided into two entry slots for the supply leads.
