A fold-down cabinet for campers in which a counter assembly having a sink and stove is mounted on a base for movement between raised and lowered positions. The mechanism for raising and lowering the counter assembly consists of a plurality of levers connected to the counter assembly and to the base, permitting the base to swing outwardly, forwardly, upwardly and rearwardly as the counter assembly is moved from its lowered to its raised position. A drain fixture having a vent is connected to the sink, and the fixture has a plurality of holes for receiving the drain and vent outlet when the counter assembly is in its lowered and raised positions.
A mobile cooking device for providing a mobile cart for cooking and cleaning purposes. The mobile cooking device includes a housing. The housing has a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, a bottom wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall. The second wall has a door therein. The door is selectively positioned between an open position and a closed position. An axle extends through the front and back walls. The axle is positioned generally adjacent to the second side wall. Each of a first pair of wheels is rotatably coupled to an opposite end of the axle. Each of a pair of brackets is coupled to the bottom wall and positioned generally adjacent to the first side wall. Each of a second pair of wheels is rotatably coupled to one of the brackets. A sink is positioned in the top wall of the housing. Each of a plurality of burners is positioned on the top wall of the housing. A fuel supply is fluidly coupled to each of the burners.
In a kitchen appliance including a refrigerator and a cooker 7 and being intended and suitable for installation in camping vehicles, boats and the like, the cooker 7 is fixedly mounted on the upper side of the refrigerator including at least one gas burner 8 and the relating fittings 12, while the cover plate 13 of the cooker 7 can be assembled and disassembled. The burner 8 and the thermosensors 26 of the cooker 7 are movable in height in limited manner for bearing on a relating opening in the cover plate 13 from bottom and for being connected or screwed, respectively, to a burner head to be put thereon from top. The construction permits simple and quick installation and removal of the refrigerator together with the cooker 7.
A sink with a basin which affords alternative side-to-side and front-to-back movement of a cutting board over the basin. The sink is preferably employed with a cooking chamber. Various types of cooking utensils can be employed in conjunction with the cutting board.
Basin apparatus for use in a hospital including a wheeled transport and a portable disposable basin. The basin is disposable and made of lightweight material which serves also as insulation. The basin has at least two separately molded sinks and having a flange along a rim of the sinks to seat the sinks on a horizontal upper rim of the wheeled transport. The flange of the sinks is provided with apertures and recesses for holding various shaped containers and hospital utensils. In the preferred embodiment, the wheeled transport includes a frame having a rotatably attached shelf wherein the frame is collapsible for convenient storage. Preferably, the sinks are fabricated of molded styrofoam and are sterilized.
A cooking unit has a cooking chamber for water which is heated and drained from a pot by electrical remote controls which are compactly placed on the surface of the unit. In one embodiment, a basin is employed with the cooking unit and affords movement of a cutting board over the basin. Various types of cooking utensils can be employed in conjunction with the cooking chamber and the basin.
