A cushion padded hair roller means which is coaxially bendable and resilient but yet having at least one portion thereof diametrically substantially rigid for use by persons in the hair roller do-it-yourself art whereby a chic look may be obtained even when traveling as well as when going out and, the persons, when substantially sleeping on some of the hair roller means which are dressed in their hair will still substantially receive sleeping comfort as well as protection for at least one portion of their scalp which is generally protected from becoming hair roller numb; deficient or unhealthy and thereby leading to loss of hair or balding; and at times preventing stiff necks and the formation of dandruff, accordingly.
A hair curling device having a coated steel spring covered by a perforate heat shrink plastic sleeve capable of being axially compressed by hand to a fraction of its fully extended size. Produced in varying diameters, rollers can be nested one within the other to be concentrically telescoped, then stored in a compartmentalized molded plastic case designed to maintain the rollers in the compressed position.
A hair curler is disclosed which comprises a pretensioned helical spring covered by a foam rubber sleeve. A clamp is attached to one end of the curler which allows the hair to be curled around the body of the curler and the curler bent in a ring shape and retained in this shape by fixing the clamp to the curler body. The curler is heated by inserting a heating element in the center core of the curler. An alternative embodiment comprises a helical spring embedded in a hollow cylinder of a flexible material. The cylinder has a foam rubber sleeve and a clamp fixed to one end.
A hair curler roller including a hardened and substantially spool-shaped core. A foam outer layer is applied about an exterior surface associated with the core, said outer layer further including a smooth fabric satin covering. A clamp mechanism is engageably secured about an annular surface associated with the spool-shaped core, the clamp mechanism including inwardly directed and extending serrated edges. The clamp mechanism is manipulated between opened and closed positions, and such that the serrated edges biasingly sandwich a user's hair wound about the outer layer.
A hair roller for rolling hair, with a roller core provided with openings or macropores and a selfgripping fabric tape fixed thereto having openings formed by webs on the reverse side of the adhesive fabric tape to permit moisture to escape when wet hair is being dried. The roller core has on its outer wall at least one stud which may be pushed through the open webs of the reverse side of the selfgripping fabric tape.
