A support for children's swings and the like includes a ground support plate pivotally and swivally connected to a cylindrical member which is insertable into a hollow tubular support leg of the swing framework.
Secured to a base plate and extending upwardly therefrom at an acute angle is a tubular member adapted to receive an inclined leg of an outdoor gym set. The tubular member carries clamping means for securely holding the leg within the member. The plate and attached leg are anchored by driving into the ground a pin having a portion passing through an aperture formed in the plate. The aperture lies substantially in the axial plane of the tubular member and is located so that the member is inclined away from the aperture. The device provides a firm support for a gym leg and restrains it against sinking into the ground.
A sign post assembly having an elongated post with a hollow end for positioning over a base member which is secured to the ground by base rod members slidably mounted in the base member and driven into the ground. A post rod member is connected to the hollow end of the post for holding the post on the base member. The post may have bowed walls and a longitudinally extending rib for increased rigidity. The base member may have a cruciform or rectangular cross section with longitudinally extending sleeves in diagonally opposite corner portions for the base rod members. The cross arm may also have a longitudinally extending rib for stiffening the arm and providing a groove for an upper sign. A tab may be provided extending outward from the hollow end of the post and have an opening through which the post rod member may be driven into the ground.
A tow apparatus (20) is installable in a moveable craft (11) for towing a load (18) situated behind the craft. The load (18) is connected to a selectively erectable, vertical post member (22) mountable on a floor deck (17) of the craft (11). When erected, the vertical post member (22) is further supported by two support members (26A, 26B) which are mounted on the floor deck (17) intermediate the vertical post member (20) and the stern (13) of the craft (11). The vertical post member (22) is mounted on floor deck (17) by engagement with a post anchor assembly (24). The support members (26A, 26B) are mounted on floor deck (17) by their engagement with corresponding support anchor assemblies (30A, 30B). The anchor assemblies (24,30) are installed on floor deck (17) in a manner whereby elements of the anchoring assemblies (24, 30) do not significantly protrude beyond the plane of the floor deck (17) when in a storage position (i.e., when the vertical post member (22) and support members (26A, 26B) are not erected).
A plastics foot supporting member, adapted for mounting directly to a camping tent, comprises a horizontal sheet portion and an upright sheet portion, the two portions being held perpendicular to each other. One end of the horizontal portion is provided near the edge with a hole for tent peg to pass through. Adjacent to this hole is a vertically upwardly projecting tubular support for insertion and fixing therein of the tent brace pole. A further hole defined on the upright portion facilitates tying thereto of the tent outer sheet whereas a flaplock part formed at the tail end of the upright portion is intended to be sewn on to the corners of the tent inner sheet.
The present invention relates to a light-tight roll-film cassette for holding and dispensing light sensitive material, having means to adjust the vertical position of the cassette in the exposure device, these means consisting of attachable spacers.
