Some compounds having the general formula of where we find R is hydrogen, or an alkylic group, possibly mono- or bi-substituted, or a hydroxyl group and n is an entire number varying from 1 to 6. Such compounds display the common property of being effective against several disorders of the eye (presbiopia, amblyopia, cataract etc.) and may be used as active principles in a pharmaceutical formulation of ophthalmic topical preparations.
