A three-wheeled vehicle or tricycle having an elongated frame mounting an auxiliary tricycle seat behind an operator's seat with handle bars and pedals for the auxiliary seat which are not connected to tricycle wheels for providing an auxiliary simulated tricycle arrangement upon a tricycle for small children.

A two wheel, synchronously driven bicycle is disclosed as comprising a frame, a rear wheel, a front wheel, a foot powered drive unit for said rear and front wheels, a fork member whereby the front wheel is rotatably mounted on the frame, the foot power drive unit mounted on the frame having first and second sprockets coupled to be rotatably driven by the foot powered unit, the rear wheel having a third sprocket connected thereto, the front wheel having a fourth sprocket connected thereto, first and second endless belts or chains respectively interconnecting the first sprocket and the third sprocket of the rear wheel, and the second sprocket and the fourth sprocket of the front wheel, and a pair of pulleys mounted on a steering post of the fork member for receiving leading and trailing portions of the second belt and for directing the belt from the second sprocket to the fourth sprocket of said front wheel in a manner to permit steering of the front wheel and to avoid interference of the second belt with the frame.

A dirigible vehicle which is supported upon at least three ground engaging wheels located about the lower periphery of the device. Two of the three wheels are steerable while the third is fixed in position with its axis perpendicular to a line interconnecting the two steerable wheels. By manipulation of the steerable wheels, the vehicle may be adapted for movement along a linear path or may be made to spin about its own axis. Intermediate positioning of the steerable wheels will cause the vehicle to sweep in large circular arcs. The device may be self-propelled by a foot pedal assembly or by a small motor, with either a single steering wheel or dual independent steering controls. The unique steering capabilities of the vehicle make it ideally suited for recreational purposes or wherever extreme maneuverability is required.

A multi-person velocipede is provided with a pair of interconnected frame members. A pair of rotatable forward wheels are rigidly coupled to the forward portion of the frames, and a pair of rotatable rearward wheels are pivotably coupled to the rearward portion of the frames. Sets of pedals operatively engage the forward wheels to provide power, braking and turning operations to the velocipede.

Tricycle and intermediate frame for tricycle. The tricycle includes a rear axle, rear wheels coupled to free ends of the rear axle, a rear seat, and a rear frame coupled to the rear axle and to the rear seat. A front frame includes a fork tube, and the front frame and the rear frame are detachably connectable to each other. The tricycle also includes a handlebar, and a fork coupled to the handle bar. The fork is rotatably coupled to the fork tube. A front wheel includes pedal cranks and is rotatably coupled to the fork. A second seat and a holding element are also included. The intermediate frame is arranged to support the second seat and the holding element, and is detachably coupled between the front frame and the rear frame.
