Three large rubber or other elastomeric bands in the form of three closed loops have respective ends tied together. In another form of the invention their ends are bound by a slip knot (or other knot) to a central flexible or rigid ring. For sport or for exercise, three players have at least a portion of their bodies (waist, feet, hands) engaged by the other respective ends of the bands. Each player then tries to pull away from the central connection and toward a specified goal so that he will be pulling against the pulls in opposing directions by the other players. The first player who is able to reach his goal wins.
A game of physical skill to be played by two or more persons wherein the participants each stand within their respective small and encompassing ground boundaries or on small portable platforms which hold them a slight distance off the ground. Each participant then grasps onto a hand line which is connected at an intermediate point to every other participant's hand line. Each participant starts with an extra length of hand line which is also provided with a plastic tube grip over the line for grasping the line therein and to permit effective controlled slipping of the line through the hands without friction burns. The object of the game is to unbalance all other participants such that they can no longer stay within their respective boundaries or on the platform, or in the alternative to dislodge the hand line away from all other participants. The respective ground boundaries may be marked on the ground surface, or provided by mats or raised platforms.
Multi-team tug-of-war game apparatus for two to six teams of one to twelve players per team, with tugging ropes attached to central hub assembly, with appropriate radial orientation on angles of rope. Team players pull ropes in such a manner so as to try to topple their respective goal pieces set a short distance out from game area center. Central hub assembly has a vertically adjustable center pointer rod with central goal contactor attached to it below. Movement of contactor via movement of ropes can topple goal piece for game win. A graphic chart or mat is placed on playing surface to indicate game area center, angles of rope attachment, and location of goal pieces, with the latter two features depending on number of competing teams. In general, novel game permits very large groups, as well as small groups, to play a precision tug-of-war game readily, safely, and inexpensively as measured on a per person basis.
A Portable exerciser for stretching or toning muscles of a user is provided. The exerciser has a stretchable elastic anchor loop and a plurality of supplemental elastic loops of different but interchangeable strength and lengths. Accordingly, loops can be interchanged and interconnected in a series by the use of releasable fastening means such as a buckle or the like, for interchangeably combining such loops into a variety of portable exercise devises.
