Abstract
A foot and body vibrator having a motor with an eccentric attached to an unsupported end of a platform, the central portion being flexibly mounted to a base, and the other end being secured to or unsecured to the base. Vibrations from the motor are efficiently transmitted through the platform with the assistance of the securement means consisting of hard rubber member sandwiched between a U-shaped flexible spring and thence a base and platform.

3957038 - Massage unit console

A massage unit console for maintaining for use and storage electrically powered massage equipment. The console includes a box-like container for containing the equipment and having a lid that opens in a manner to hold a massage control in a stable manner and in proper position for convenient operation.

6206166 - Coin-operated massage table and method and system for providing high quality massage

A coin-operated massage table features an intersegmented traction table having a plurality of rollers rotating in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions that travel up and down a patient's back. The patient is lying in a supine position on the table during the massaging process. A control panel is used to increase or decrease the height of the rollers which increases or decreases, respectively, the pressure on the back muscles. The control panel is mounted to the table and is connected to a bill acceptor device which accepts coins, bills, tokens, credit cards or debit cards. The massage table operates for a predetermined amount of time based upon the amount of money the patient inserts in the bill acceptor device. Other optional features of the massage table include a vibration device, and hot and cold and moist supplying devices in the table which are controlled by the control panel. These additional devices may be operated following an initial predetermined payment necessary to actuate the table, or may be operable only upon additional predetermined payments.

6106491 - Shaking device for treating Parkinson's disease - Owned by Weller Mobilizer, Inc. (New York, NY)

A device and method for treating the symptoms of Parkinson's disease involves a shaking device with a horizontally, linearly, sinusoidally reciprocating foot support pad connected to a motor via a flywheel and linkage mechanism enclosed in a housing. The motor, linkage and flywheel, as well as the foot support pad are slidably supported on a pair of rails within the housing. The motor-flywheel-linkage assembly and the foot support pad have opposite, complementary balancing motion to minimize the vibration induced to the housing of the shaking device. In the treatment method, the patient is placed on a support and the patient's foot is placed on the foot support pad, at which time the shaking device is activated for a period of time. The orientation of the shaking device and the positioning of the patient can be varied to direct the shaking effect induced in the patient's body to certain desired areas.

4523580 - Apparatus for treating human feet

Apparatus for treating human feet includes a container adapted to hold a quantity of liquid into which the feet may be immersed. A pair of foot supports within the container are alternately reciprocated to effect foot massage. The supports include fins which turbulently circulate the liquid to enhance the massage. A quantity of particulates such as sand may be introduced into the liquid in order to further enhance the massage and provide mild abrasion of the skin to remove callouses and the like.

7530960 - Therapeutic vibration apparatus

A therapeutic vibration apparatus includes a motor operated vibrator mounted beneath a vibration platform. The motor drives a drive shaft on which a fixed weight is eccentrically mounted. Further, a rotatable weight is eccentrically mounted to the drive shaft. The fixed weight includes a stop protruding outwardly and the rotatable weight is positioned on the drive shaft at a location to be caught by the stop when the shaft is rotating. A controller is used to change the direction of rotation of the motor so that when the drive shaft is rotated in one direction, the rotatable weight is caught by the stop on a side aligned with the eccentric portion of the fixed weight and when the motor is reversed in direction the weight is caught on the other side of the drive shaft in opposition to the eccentric portion of the fixed weight.
