An article of manufacture which includes an absorbent sheet of material having a non-absorbent sheet or backing bonded to one surface. The outline of a picture to be colored is drawn on the other surface of the absorbent sheet by using moisture impervious barrier lines which penetrate into the absorbent sheet. Colored fluid mediums are applied to the surface of the absorbent sheet to form the colored article.
A kit for decorating a panel bearing holographic areas. The kit includes the panel and plural marker pens. Each of the marker pens is arranged to provide a respective colored ink. The panel includes a decorative area made up of plural blank areas and plural hologram areas which together form a decorative image. Each of the hologram areas is resistant to the absorption of the ink thereon, whereupon ink from the pens can be applied to the blank areas to produce a neatly colored decorative image.
Disclosed is a color changing toothpaste which contains color reagents for interacting to provide a color change indicative of tooth brushing time. The color reagents comprise two separate color components which may be an FD&C dye, and FD&C lake or a natural food color, the two separate color components being adapted to interact after a predetermined brushing time to produce a third color. Optionally, the toothpaste may contain up to approximately 0.05% by weight of a foaming agent and other components such as a fluoride and a flavoring agent or flavor burst component.
A blank intended to be first customized by allowing an intended user to color feature sections and outlines thereof and then to be used as a decorating article providing a decorative design. The blank includes a generally rigid panel defining a pair of opposed panel surfaces. Grooves are formed in one of the panel surfaces for outlining the feature sections. The grooves are configured and sized for sufficiently separating adjacent feature sections so as to facilitate the application of a coloring material on the feature sections with reduced risks of overlapping. The grooves are also designed so as to guide a coloring implement during the application of coloring material to the groove bottom surface. The blank is made out of a material that allows sanding away of unintentionally colored areas. The blank may be used individually or combined with other complementary blanks for forming a composite decoration assembly.
An oral composition is provided that includes a peroxide, a triphenylmethane class dye, a tartrazine class dye and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Preferred embodiments of the dye system are FD&C Blue 1 and FD&C Yellow 5, in combination providing a green color. This green color is stable against degradation from the peroxide.
A kit for creating artwork such as sand painting is provided having a front cover, a back cover, and an interposed spine. The spine spaces the front and back cover when folded into a book form. The back cover extends outwardly beyond the front cover when folded and has a container mounted thereon which retains a series of dispensers therein. A booklet is mounted to the inside of one of the covers and an envelope is mounted to the inside of the other cover. A plurality of drawing sheets are provided having a base and a cover sheet. The base has a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive which is removably covered by the cover sheet. The cover sheet has perforations to define a plurality of removable portions. Each dispenser has a plurality of small color particles of a pre-selected color. To create a sand painting, a drawing sheet is selected; a portion of the cover sheet is removed from the drawing sheet, exposing the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive; a dispenser of a pre-selected color is selected; and the color particles are sprinkled from the dispenser onto the exposed pressure sensitive adhesive. The process is repeated until the sand painting is completed.
