7130247 - Watch with fly back hand function and corresponding fly back hand mechanism - Owned by Richemont International SA (Villars-sur-Glane,CH)

A watch with an analog time display has at least one minute hand and one hour hand. This watch is moreover equipped with a fly back hand mechanism which has at least one minute fly back hand and/or hour fly back hand located coaxially to the hands of the normal time display. In the normal mode, the fly back hand or hands is/are moved synchronously with the hands of the normal time display and relative to them in an overlapping position. They can be stopped in a timer mode for marking of any instant of time and after expiry of any time interval, for again synchronously running with the hands of the normal time display. The actuated coupling of the fly back hand mechanism is located preferably non-coaxially to the axis of the motion work of the watch.

5255248 - Time line watch

A watch is disclosed herein having a case mounting a time-keeping mechanism with hour and minute hands movable across the face of a numbered dial. A time line hand is included, settable by pushbutton to a start position superimposed with the position of the minute hand whereby angular displacement of the minute hand as it moves away from the time line hand establishes elapsed time of an event. A rotatable bezel is coaxially disposed with respect to the watch dial which carries an index arrow and a figure thirty situated 180 degrees apart. The time line hand is selectively operable with the arrow marking of the bezel for reading "count down" time for an event.

7293911 - Timekeeper with a mechanism for measuring settable predetermined periods - Owned by Rolex S.A. (Geneva,CH)

This timekeeper comprises a first timer (4), means (12) for connecting it selectively to the train of the timekeeper (T), a second timer (5), a synchronous coupling between the first (4) and second (5) timers, and fly-back means (13, 13', 9, 11) for said timers (4, 5). An auxiliary motive source (10') is in a driving relationship with the second timer (5) and a one-way coupling (6a, 7a) is situated between the first (4) and second (5) timers to regulate the speed of movement of the latter at a predetermined ratio with the speed of movement of the first timer (4) while allowing one-way relative movement of the first timer (4) relative to the second (5) when the latter is in the stop position and one-way relative movement in the opposite sense of the second timer (5) when the first timer (4) is in the stop position.

5349572 - Clock dial

A clock dial having a minute face, an hour face with a smaller diameter than the minute face, and a minute hand rotatable relative to the minute face. The minute face has a central axis for rotating the minute hand. The hour face is geared relative to the central axis such that one revolution of the minute hand moves the hour face for less than one full revolution. The central axis has a first gear extending therearound. This first gear engages gear teeth formed on an outer edge of the hour face. A motor is connected to the central axis on a side of the minute face opposite the hour face. The hour face is geared to the minute hand such that one revolution of the minute hand moves the hour face approximately 1/12 of a revolution. The minute face has a set of indicia representative of minutes. The hour face has a set of indicia representative of hours.
