Household-type cleaning brush has a handle which is generally L-shaped. The inner edges and corners are curved in such manner as to fit the hand conveniently for many different uses. The exterior edges are straight except that the corner is rounded and provided with bristles which slant toward the corner. Bristles adjacent the corner are longer so that the outer ends of the bristles completely fill the outline of a right angle.
A cleaning implement for cleaning a soiled surface having soiling particles lodge therein includes a body having a cleaning surface defining first and second cleaning section. The first and second cleaning sections are provided respectively with first and second dislodging bristles for dislodging the soiled particles from the soiled surface. The first and second cleaning bristles are configured and positioned so that the dislodging action is performed more efficiently when the first and second cleaning section are move relative to the soiled surface respectively in a first and a second direction as opposed to other directions. The implement is connectable to a vacuum source for suctioning the soiling particles having been dislodged by the first and second cleaning surfaces.
A broom head for channeling spreadable material, such as sand and debris. This broom head is represented by a manual push broom embodiment and an embodiment for adaption to a motorized vehicle. In both embodiments, the arms of the broom converge at a junction to form an interior angle. The bristles bordering along this interior angle form a leading edge which channels any spreadable material toward the junction of the angle. The manual push broom embodiment adopts a V-shaped structure, thereby having a single interior angle, while the motorized embodiment adopts an X-shaped structure and thereby has at least two interior angles. The channeling ability of this broom head is especially useful for paving and road work, where sand must be channeled into cracks for purposes of repair.
A bathtub brush having a lower bristled surface with a flat central portion, upwardly angled, flat end portions, and convex curved surfaces between the central and end portions. The curved portions are configured to conform to the rounded corner between the bottom and sides of a bathtub, thereby allowing simultaneous, effective cleaning of the bottom, sides, and rounded corner therebetween. The brush includes an elongated handle to allow the user to stand while cleaning the tub.
A paint brush for use in corner applications is provided. The paint brush comprises a handle having a first end and second end, a ferrule receiver, and a detachable ferrule. The ferrule receiver is attached to the second end of the handle and includes a locking mechanism for providing securable attachment of a ferrule. The ferrule is disposed in slidable engagement with the ferrule receiver and is configured to an angle of less than 180 degrees. The ferrule includes a plurality of bristles secured therein, and extending axially therefrom.
