A correction switching device for a wrist watch provided with an electronic buzzer, comprising a stem having at least three stable positions, and a setting mechanism and an electronic buzzer switch which are operated by said stem such that said setting mechanism is set in a time setting position when said winding stem is in one of said three stable positions and in an alarm setting position when said stem is in one of the other stable positions, and said electronic buzzer switch is set in the "off" position when said stem is at least in one of the stable positions other than that for time setting and in the "on" position when said stem is in the other stable positions.
A pointer electronic timepiece (1) has a plurality of step motors, a plurality of pointers (11 to 18), and a plurality of external operation members of a winding crown (5) and buttons (6, 7). The pointer to be adjusted is selected from the plurality of pointers (15 to 18) by operating one of the buttons (6) while drawing out the winding crown (5) to a second stage and the other button (7) is operated to adjust the position of the selected pointer. Since the position of the pointers (15 to 18) driven by three step motors can be adjusted by the two buttons (6, 7), the number of the external operation member is not necessary to be increased even when the pointers (15 to 18), i.e. the step motors, are increased, so that the size and thickness of a movement-holder and cost thereof can be reduced and operability during adjustment can be improved.
There is provided an alarm clock of the type which produces an electric signal and which operates in conjunction with an auxiliary device. The clock comprises first circuit means having first switch means for producing and cancelling the signal, and second circuit means having second switch means for switching the auxiliary device on and off. A single spring contact forms a common switch member of said first and second switch means. The advantage gained hereby is that the number of switches normally required to produce and cancel said signal and to energize and de-energize said auxiliary device is reduced.
The specification discloses a timer including a housing having a display aperture in the front surface thereof. A light emitting diode display is mounted within the display aperture for displaying multiple digits. A U-shaped bracket pivotally connects to the housing and has a base surface which is adapted to be attached to a telephone set for ease of viewing by the telephone user. Timing circuitry within the housing generates periodic timing signals and drives the display to display time intervals to the telephone user. A switch is positioned on the housing for actuation by the telephone user to start and stop operation of the circuitry.
