Abstract
Emergency craft for patrol, search, rescue and firefighting operations having weather deck structures which fit into apertures in the deck and are removable to provide full access to components below the weather deck. 6883455 - Personal watercraft and buffer member for personal watercraft - Owned by Kawasaki Jukogyo Kabushiki Kaisha (Kobe,JP)

In a personal watercraft and a buffer member of the present invention, a gunnel or the buffer member (bumper) functions as a sponson. An elongate-plate shaped sponson portion is protruded in a lower portion of a corner bumper provided on a side portion of a body along the longitudinal direction of the body. The sponson portion extends such that its longitudinal direction substantially corresponds with the longitudinal direction of the body. A rear end portion of the sponson portion has a width larger than that of a front end portion thereof. The corner bumper functions as the sponson as well as the conventional buffer member.

4473026 - Fishing boat

A low-profile fishing boat having a forward cabin in the bow covered by a foredeck whose level is about the same as the hull sheer line, the foredeck terminating at the bulkhead of the cabin. A bow rail is secured to the boundary of the foredeck and a center control console is mounted on the foredeck at a position thereon displaced from the bow rail to create a walk-around passage. The cabin bulkhead has a center door flanked on either side by steps leading from the walk-around passage on the foredeck to the sole of a rear cockpit, whereby a pilot stationed before the center console has good visibility in all directions and has ready access to both the cockpit and the bow for carrying out docking and anchoring stations. The complete walk-around capability of this boat is advantageous in fishing to both pilot and passengers.
