A method and composition for the management of anaplasmosis which comprises administering to cattle a composition containing the compound of the formula ##EQU1## wherein R.sup.1 is a methyl or ethyl group, R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are different, each being a hydrogen atom, a methyl, or an ethyl group.
