Abstract
A container has one or more openings which extend into the container down elongated passageways. The passageways have needle prodders mounted along sidewalls to discourage rodent retreat once a rodent has entered the passageway. The interior ends of the passageways have doors with small holes for permitting rodents to smell enticing substances on the interior of the container, which doors are structured with lengths greater than the height of the passageways such that the doors extend into the interior of the container at an angle and can only be opened into the interior. The doors have needles on interior sides to keep rodents captured therein away from said doors. Sidewalls of the passageways extend into the interior of the container for keeping captured rodents away from side edges of the doors when in any open position. The passageways and an emptying means are sealable so that lethal vehicle exhaust can be connected to the container at an inlet port or at one of the passageways for killing rodents captured therein with carbon monoxide.

5386663 - Multiple live mouse trap

A mouse trap includes structure facilitating the capture of mice without harming them so that they may be disposed of as desired. The trap includes an entryway having a gravity closed or spring-biased gate having holes which may be filled with bait. Just past the gate is a further bait plate having holes which may also be filled with bait. When a mouse passes through the spring-biased gate and feeds from the plate, the mouse will enter into a chamber which contains further bait. When the gate is closed by gravity, the mouse cannot escape. The bottom of the trap includes a trap door which may be opened to dispose of mice caught in the trap.

4266362 - Animal trap locking mechanism

An animal toss trap includes an enclosure having openings for animal entry therethrough. A generally elongated gate displaced from these openings and positioned within the enclosure presents an animal capture compartment therebeyond. In a normal gate position, the horizontally disposed spikes project from one end of the gate towards a wall of the enclosure so as to present a means of entry or path into the animal capture compartment. An animal on initial progression through this path pushes against the spike tips causing the gate to swing in response thereto. During subsequent animal movement the discomfort of the spiked tips upon the side of the animal further urges the animal through the forward path and into the capture compartment. The gate, being spring biased, returns to a normal position after the above animal entry. A lock, released by an animal upon entry into the path is provided to prevent the gate from being opened by a previously captured animal.

6263612 - Rodent trap

A trap for rodents and the like, comprising an openable housing that, in use, has a normally closed interior space for containing a trapped animal, an entranceway formed in an outer wall of the housing and leading to the interior space, and entrance-closing door means constructed and arranged to permit one-way access into the interior space, and baiter means constructed and arranged for delivering limited amounts of bait into the interior space.
