Abstract
Anchor for anchoring dredgers, off-shore drilling platforms and other special purpose vessels, comprising a shank, two flukes hinged to the shank having together a Delta shape, trim plates or head faces provided on both sides of the flukes, the width of the trim plates being less than the total width of the flukes, characterized in that the outer ends of both trim plates are connected to the outer rims of the flukes by stabilizing plates which enclose an acute angle both with the direction of the shank and with the plane of the flukes.

4972793 - Anchor - Owned by Sakai Kohatsu Kabushiki Kaisha (Chiba,JP)

An anchor is used for anchoring a hull or a floating body on the water. When the anchor of the present invention is made to land on the bottom of the water, left and right bills and a lower auxiliary bill encroach the bottom of the water and thus to make anchoring positive, and as a shank, bills and a bill stopping frame are relatively thin, said anchor is lighter than the conventional anchors. Consequently the resistance of the sediment in the bottom of the water is minimized with respect to the encroachment, and therefore the work and labor during casting and weighing said anchor can be relieved.

4394842 - Anchor

An anchor having a twin fluke comprising closed hollow double-plate fluke structures, a shank hinged between the flukes substantially in the gravity center of the fluke, fluke angle delimiters on either side of the hinge, rear stabilizers at the side edges of the fluke, front stabilizers in the form of forwardly and outwardly diverging fluke finger tips, and wings connecting the fluke angle delimiters and each of the rear stabilizers, the wings diverge rearwardly and converge outwardly towards the rear stabilizers. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the wings are located substantially rearwardly of the fluke with the rear stabilizers diverging rearwardly and inwardly to their intersection with the wings.

5683209 - Marine bi-plane anchor

An anchor comprising an exterior bale and having two fluke planes in a horizontal plane that lie vertically parallel and in a horizontal plane are separated by vertical ribs uniting the horizontal planes at an angle of 90.degree. and forming with them open spaces between the fluke planes that allow the passage of marine floor material through the entire length of the fluke planes area. Stops elements are to either side of the fluke plane and control the burial angle rotation of the fluke in relationship to the bale.

5131347 - Anchor

An improved anchor comprising a central longitudinal stem, or flat bar, two cylindrical bars arranged symmetrically near one end of the flat bar and in a transversal sense, two triangular-shaped flukes each with a tubular base for insertion on the cylidnrical bars, the axial displacement being limited by washers and pins, each fluke turning independently with an amplitude between the flukes of at least 120.degree., the amplitude determined by the distance of two triangular tops from the central stem.
