6354725 - Broad architectural illumination from expanded and remote light distribution optics of luminaires

A light assembly includes a radial beam projector for being positioned in the vicinity of a ceiling of a room and spaced from at least some of the walls thereof. There may be at least two reflectors or refractors on or adjacent to the walls or ceiling of the room, each for receiving a separate light beam from the projector in at least two spaced locations and reflecting or refracting light into desired patterns to provide light for such room. The radial beam projector may project at least two light beams, one toward each reflector or refractor. There is also a light assembly which includes a circular reflector or refractor element on or adjacent to the walls or ceiling of such room for receiving a radial light beam from the projector and reflecting or refracting light into desired patterns to provide light for such room.

4803608 - Rear lights for bicycles and other vehicles - Owned by Duracell Inc. (Bethel, CT)

The invention provides a light comprising a lamp, a reflector or other means defining an optical axis close to which the major part of the emergent light is distributed and a lens system having one or more prisms formed on its nearer face to the lamp and adjacent an edge of the lens system arranged to trap light from the lamp and distribute it by total internal reflection through the material of said lens system so that it emerges from the edge at more than 100.degree. to the optical axis.

4669034 - Non-glare device for large surface light emitting means - Owned by Semperlux GmbH (Berlin,DE)

A non-glare screen is assembled of prismatic rings stacked one on the other and coaxially enclosing a light emitting surface. Each ring has a cross-section of a right triangle. One leg of the triangle is perpendicular to the axis of the light emitting surface and the hypoteruse forms with the one leg an angle between 35.degree. to 45.degree., preferably 40.degree..

4347555 - Compound beam illuminating

A light source is disposed within a light reflector formed to direct a light beam through an open end of the reflector and light controlling means for projecting a modified light beam from the same reflector.

5863115 - Decorative illumination system

Illumination system with a light source and a surrounding cylindrical array of refracting elements producing spokes.
