A hydraulically actuated digging mechanism is removably securable to the tilt frame of a mobile shovel loader when the loader bucket is removed from the tilt frame; and a pair of stabilizer links are removably attachable to the tilt frame and to the lift arms of the shovel loader to support the weight of the digging mechanism without dependence upon the tilt actuator of the shovel loader, and to prevent accidental raising of the lift arms.
A mounting device for attaching an accessory apparatus to an off road vehicle. The mounting device includes a carrier frame mounted to the accessory and a mounting frame attached between the actuating arms of the off road vehicle. The mounting frame includes a bar member that is engageable with an overhanging member on the carrier frame to form a load bearing connection between the vehicle and the accessory apparatus. The mounting device further includes a pair of lug members secured to the carrier frame that are releasibly engageable with horizontally directed openings formed in hooks attached to opposite sides of the vehicle. Adjacent each of the lugs is mounted a movable over center locking mechanism that is movable between a locked position wherein the lugs are locked to the hooks to secure the accessory to the vehicle, and an unlocked position which allows the lugs to be removed from the openings in the hooks. Each of the over center locking mechanisms include a pivotable locking pawl engageable with the hook, an operating lever and a spring biased link which couples the pawl to the operating lever.
A backhoe arrangement is disclosed wherein a single dipper arm is adapted for operably, removably engaging a mounting bracket of a tractor mounted, cantilevered type of skip-loader boom arm assembly. The tractor provides support for the cantilevered load by reason that the boom arms are pivoted from a rear end of the tractor while the attached single-arm backhoe is operably deployed to the front of the tractor. The described embodiment provides for significantly reduced weight and complexity, thereby enabling the tractor to be driven during excavating operations. The dipper arm may be swung to positions nearly at right angles to the direction of travel of the tractor.
The present invention relates to an auger mount device for coupling an auger to a vehicle such as an excavator, skid steer loader, or the like, having a dipper stick and a bucket link. The auger mount device comprises a mounting plate having a dipper end, an auger end, and a pivot aperture adjacent to the dipper end. The pivot aperture is suitable for mounting the auger mount device to the boom. A fin is attached to the mounting plate. The fin defines a slot suitable for attachment to the bucket link. The auger is mountable to the auger end.
A crane support consisting of a steel square tubing pedestal having an apertured mounting plate fixedly attached to its upper end, and having an enlarged base fixedly attached to its lower end; an axle, the pedestal being mounting rotatably upon the axle; an auxiliary implement mounting frame fixedly attached to a rearward end of the axle, such mounting plate being adapted for attachment to skid steer loader lift arms and bucket dumping rams; a pair of telescoping outriggers fixedly attached to and extending laterally from the pedestal, each outrigger arm having downwardly extendable and upwardly retractable foot fixedly attached to its distal end; a plurality of hydraulic cylinders operatively connected to the telescoping outriggers and to the feet for alternating lateral and vertical extensions and retractions; and a hydraulic cylinder connected operatively to the pedestal for alternately locking the pedestal against rotation with respect to the mounting frame and permitting such rotation.
An improved skid steer vehicle that has a longitudinally extending main frame and wheels for supporting the main frame for movement over the ground. An operator's compartment spans substantially the entire lateral distance of the main frame in the fore and aft midportions thereof, An engine is contained within an engine compartment disposed rearward of the operator's compartment and includes an auxiliary hydraulic power supply driven off the engine. A pair of spaced apart actuating arms are operably coupled to the main frame at a first end and have a quick attaching mount disposed at a second end thereof. The improvement comprises a flail mower implement that has a quick attachment receiver that is adapted for selective engagement with the quick attaching mount of the pair of actuating arms.
