A wristwatch having a sound-emitting device or alarm therein includes a watch case, a cover glass and a case back. The sound-emitting device is mounted in the watch case from the back side in a mounting opening formed in the watch case. The watch case is formed with a sound-emitting aperture on the top surface over at least a portion of the mounting opening of smaller size than the mounting opening.
A function module unit having a memory function is removably attached on one of wrist bands, while a function module unit having a sensor function is removably attached to the other wrist band. On both wrist bands, bus line wires are embedded along the longitudinal direction. Each of the bus line wires comprises a Vcc line, a serial data line, a clock data line, and a ground line. Each of these lines is provided with a connector member which is exposed on the back surface of the wrist band at a position corresponding to the function module unit.
The present invention concerns a water-resistant portable apparatus including a case in which there is mounted an electroacoustic transducer separated from an inlet cavity in a water-resistant manner by a deformable membrane. This inlet cavity is arranged in said case in direct communication with the exterior. The electroacoustic transducer and the inlet cavity are arranged collaterally such that at least one part of said transducer, respectively of the cavity, of a determined thickness is arranged in the same slice of the case and in that an acoustic channel connects the transducer to the membrane to transmit acoustic vibrations.
An electronic alarm wristwatch including a wristwatch case with a time display and an alarm buzzer therein wherein the display overlaps at least a portion of the alarm buzzer is provided. The alarm buzzer is positioned in a sound member in registration with buzzer openings in the watchcase for directing the buzzer sound to the time display side of the wristwatch. By overlapping the time display and buzzer, the size of the time display area may be increased without increasing the overall size of the wristwatch.
A pocket or wrist watch has a unique back member that is constructed to hold a disc by adhesive means. The disc may impart special importance to the watch. It may be constructed from a gaming chip. The watch movement may be housed in another portion of a gaming chip so that the face and back of the watch are seen as a gaming chip. In another form of the invention, the face of the watch and the disc back may be inscribed with various indicia having special meaning to a recipient.
