An improved golf tee device incorporating a body member constructed of metallic wire surrounded by a protective elastomeric coating and generally describing a uniformly spaced concentric spiral. A golf ball supporting portion extends from one end of the body member and an insertion portion extends from the other end. The body member cooperates with a separate and attached line-of-flight indicating member incorporating a generally triangular planar surface with a bore therethrough adjacent the midpoint of a base of said triangle. The spiral body member passes through the bore and slidably engages the indicating member such that axial rotation of the body member results in translation of the indicating member along the axis of said body member.
A ball tee comprising an upright helical spring and a base member which extends downwardly from the column, and is adapted to engage the ground. The upright helical spring consists of a laterally flexible column which flares at its upper end to provide a resting place for a ball. The lowest coils of the helical spring are distorted to create a friction grip between the spring and the base. Preferably, the base member is configured to form a horizontally planar arcuate base, or a stake.
A golf-swing practice device is disclosed as a vinyl plastic sheet imprinted with guide marks, namely a plan view of a golf-swing practice device in accordance with the present invention with four marks, namely an arrow to be aligned with a target, a bar perpendicular to the arrow and behind an aperture for a ball tee, and two lines crossing on the arrow in front of the aperture and equally spaced from the center of the aperture.
A golf range tee includes a hollow supporting frame and a retention arrangement. The supporting frame has an upper end and a lower end, and defining a holding channel extending from the upper end towards the lower end for a shaft of the golf tee to slidably insert into the holding channel so as to selectively adjust a height a cup of the golf tee with respect to the ground. The retention arrangement has a sliding slot radially formed at the supporting frame from the upper end thereof to communicate the holding channel with an exterior of the supporting frame. Therefore, when an impact force is applied at the golf tee, the golf tee is forced to slide from the holding channel through the sliding slot so as to distribute the impact force at the golf tee to prevent the golf tee from being broken.
