A stapler of the type having a top cover member and lever member mounted for pivotal movement between an operative position disposed in closing relation with the open top of the magazine chamber of a magazine member and a staple stick loading position displaced approximately 180.degree., a staple stick pusher mounted slidable on a mounting rod within the magazine chamber and a flexible elongated pusher retracting member molded of plastic material having one end portion abutting the pusher apertured to receive the rod therethrough and the opposite end formed with a disk-shaped head insertable through an elongated slot in the top cover member so as to move within a space defined by the top cover member and the lever member.
A stapler for binding sheets of papers by driving a stapler into stacked sheets of paper. The stapler has a base member provided with an anvil plate, a staple magazine member and a driving member provided with a staple drive plate. The base member, staple magazine member and the driving member are pivotally secured at their base ends to one another by means of a pivot pin. The stapler comprises a staple guide member mounted in the staple magazine member for sliding movement in forward and backward directions while leaving a staple drive clearance in the end of the staple magazine member. The stapler further comprises a staple feeder connected to the driving member and mounted in the staple guide member for sliding movement in the forward and backward directions, and a resilient member disposed around the pivot shaft, the resilient member being retained at its front bent end by the staple guide member and at its rear bent end by the staple magazine member.
A small desk type stapler having a pivoted cover frame and magazine is disclosed. The magazine has a magazine slide which is retracted upon pivoting the cover frame to the open position. The slide is retracted to a position where it interconnects with a portion of the cover frame and holds the cover frame in the open position, allowing staple loading.
A stapler with a staple-supporting device has a base, a cover, a holding bracket and a pushing device. The base, the cover and the holding bracket are mounted pivotally together. The cover has a staple spade and the holding bracket has a corresponding staple outlet. The pushing device is mounted slidably in the holding device and has a pivoting staple-supporting device. A series of staple is mounted in the holding bracket, and the last staple is mounted on the staple-supporting device. When only one staple is left in the holding bracket, the staple-supporting device keeps the staple from falling out of the staple outlet.
A stapler is provided for stapling decorative staples into a sheet media, where the decorative staples have an indicia platform and a plurality of prongs. The stapler includes a base and a cartridge assembly pivotably mounted to the base. The cartridge assembly has a magazine for storing the decorative staples. A stapler head is provided with a ram configured to press downwardly on the indicia platform of the decorative staple, pushing the decorative staple out of the magazine such that the prongs enter a top side of a sheet media and deformed against the base on a bottom side of the sheet media. The ram is provided with ridges that extend below a table portion of the ram such that the ridges are disposed substantially directly above the prongs on the decorative staples.
