Abstract
A CCD (charge-coupled device) color camera is disclosed, wherein an installed CCD imager is capable of reading out signals of two adjacent rows of sensing elements simultaneously, besides employing an interlacing scanning technique. A color coding filter facing a sensing area of the CCD imager is arranged basically to have successive sets of color elements each set consisting of a blue color element and three red color elements in the vertical direction. In the signal processing system, two adjacent lines of video signals derived from the CCD imager are employed in order to separate red and blue color signals.

4571625 - Television camera with a solid-state pick-up device - Owned by U.S. Philips Corporation (New York, NY)

A television camera has a solid-state pick-up device having pick-up elements arranged in rows and columns, wherein a charge transfer can be effected in the columns by means of control electrodes and an associated control circuit. To have the pick-up device generate a single or multiple interlace picture signal without specific measures being required due to the structure of the pick-up elements, the control circuit supplies during at least one field scanning period out of a number of field periods forming a picture period, a charge transfer signal for effecting a single charge transfer between all the consecutive pick-up elements in each column of pick-up elements.

4412243 - Method of reproducing colored motion pictures - Owned by GX-Holding AG (Basel,CH)

Video information is recorded and stored on an information carrier in the form of a signal sequence corresponding to a sequential scan of two images of a moving colored motif. The two images correspond to interlaced color extracts. The recorded signal sequence is divided into two, one for each of the two images and these split into three primary color signals for application to a domestic color television receiver set.

5305096 - Image signal processing apparatus using color filters and an image pick-up device providing, interlaced field signals - Owned by Canon Kabushiki Kaisha (Tokyo,JP)

An image signal processing apparatus comprises an image pick-up device driven in an interlaced manner, a color filter having portions for passing luminance components located in an offset manner and a memory for storing the signal read out from the image pick-up device without sub-sampling it.

5168350 - Solid-state color imaging apparatus - Owned by Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (Yokohama,JP)

A solid-state color imaging apparatus including first and second CDs for outputting electric signals in response to incident lights thereon and a prism for separating to green and red, blue lights a light incident thereon which includes optical information corresponding to an object viewed by the solid-state color imaging apparatus. In front of the first and second CCDs are provided first and second color filters whereby the separated green light is introduced through the first color filter into the first CCD and the separated red and blue light is introduced through the second color filter into the second CCD. The first color filter has light-transmission portions all of which transmit the green light from the prism, and the second color filter has red-light transmission portions and red-and-blue-light transmission portions which are successively arranged in horizontal and vertical directions so as to form a pattern comprising horizontal lines and vertical lines. The red-light transmission portions and the red-and-blue-light transmission portions of each of the horizontal lines are alternately arranged successively and the arranging orders thereof on one odd or even horizontal line and the next odd or even horizontal line are different from each other so as to provide a 180.degree. phase difference.
