Abstract
A tablet dispenser comprises a housing and a tablet storage receptacle coaxially displaceably mounted in the housing. The storage receptacle includes a spring biased to press a stack of tablets stored in the receptacle upwards towards a dispensing end of the receptacle. An end of the housing remains in contact with an end of the receptacle in an outer end position of the receptacle in relation to the housing. The housing has a relatively shallow groove terminating short of the contacting ends of the housing and receptacle, and the receptacle has a catch arranged close to the end of the receptacle contacting the end of the housing in the outer end position. A tolerance remains between the catch and the groove, and the catch has a height corresponding to the tolerance. A sloping transition or run-up section formed by an oblique portion extends between the catch and the groove adjacent the contacting ends.

4966305 - Tablet dispenser - Owned by Centromint Company Establishment (Vaduz,LI)

A tablet dispenser has a sleeve and a magazine for holding the tablet stack. The magazine is guided in the sleeve and has an essentially U-shaped cross-section and a base connecting the limbs. For filling purposes, the magazine can be pushed partially out of the sleeve against the force of a spring arranged between the base of the magazine and a cup-like slide that is displaceable in the magazine and in the sleeve and acts as a plate spring. The slide is guided in the magazine to prevent complete tilting in the magazine and is provided with lateral projections, one of which passes through a slot arranged in the web of the magazine and engages a groove running in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve and the other of which engages a further longitudinal groove of the sleeve, which longitudinal grooves are at least partially closed at the push-out end of the sleeve and form stops for the projections of the slide. The projection of the slide that passes through the slot of the magazine is provided with a hammer-head, and a pin stop is arranged close to the base of the magazine, on the latter, and engages between two coils of the spring.

5366112 - Tablet dispenser - Owned by Patrafico AG (Zug,CH)

A tablet dispenser comprises a tubular protective housing that has a guide shaft provided with longitudinal tracks for tablets that can be inserted in the form of a columnlike stack. A pressure-loaded ram for one end of the stack of tablets, feeds the tablets along the longitudinal tracks to an ejector that engages the stack adjacent to its other end, by which the tablets, which are guided between lateral guides adjacent to the ejector, can individually be displaced transversely to the longitudinal direction of the stack. In order to simplify the assembling and to increase the reliability in function and/or operation, the spring biasing the ram is accomodated in a spring shaft that is disposed beside the shaft for guiding and accomodating the tablets. The spring biases a guiding member that is guided in the spring shaft and carries the ram on an arm that extends out through a longitudinal slot through which the two shafts communicate with each other. For the stack of tablets, a magazine is provided, which can replaceably be inserted into the tablet-guiding shaft of the housing and has passage openings for the ram, a slot for guiding the ram-carrying arm and openings for ejecting the tablets.

5460295 - Candy dispensing system - Owned by Pez Candy Inc. (Orange, CT)

A candy dispensing system is provided comprising a housing in which is defined a chamber for receiving a plurality of candies. The chamber has a dispensing opening and an arm for urging candies in the chamber so that one candy is always located adjacent the dispensing opening. In one embodiment such a candy dispensing apparatus may be combined as part of a children's wrist watch.

5048720 - Tablet dispenser - Owned by TCA Group, Inc. (Natick, MA)

A hand-held tablet dispenser provides a housing having first and second vertically oriented chambers defined by bottom and side walls and a panel separating the chambers. Each of the chambers has an opening at the top. The first chamber includes a magazine that is open at the top and removably mounted for holding a stack of tablets. The tablets are yieldably urged upward to the top of the magazine. Adjacent to the top of the magazine is a discharge opening for allowing the tablets to be dispelled from the magazine as well as a hold down bar at the top of the magazine for preventing the tablets from being forced out the top. A cover is pivotally mounted on the magazine for opening and closing the top of the housing and discharge opening. This cover carries a pusher which forces the topmost tablet in the stack out of the discharge opening when the cover is pivoted to open the discharge opening. A slide is mounted in the second chamber and moves upwardly and downwardly. A bar is also mounted in the second chamber and interconnects the cover and the slide for pivoting the cover between an open and closed position as the slide moves upwardly and downwardly in the second chamber. The slide's thumb grip is accessible from outside the housing so that the user may actuate it while gripping the dispenser.
