A skin moisturizing and cleansing cream is produced by blending a quantity of fresh bananas or avocados with smaller amounts of baking powder, orange juice and solid or liquid vegetable shortening. The ingredients are blended to a creamy texture, and the cream is massaged into the skin by hand. Thereafter, the skin can be wiped with a dry paper or cloth towel, rinsed with warm water or, alternatively, the cream can be allowed to stay on the skin following the massaging. The skin cream is stored in a refrigerator between uses thereof.
A skin moisturizing, nutritive, and healing cream is produced by blending a predominant quantity of juices from an avocado, cucumber, lady's mantle or burdock, red clover, and white willow and the remainder being lemon juice and anhydrous lanolin wherein the lanolin being the major portion of the remainder. The ingredients are blended to a creamy texture and the cream is massaged into the skin by hand.
A skin treatment composition suitable for topical application containing: an organic carrier medium consisting of olive oil, butter and honey; an adsorptive agent, cornstarch, present in a ratio of about 0.25 to about 1 part adsorptive agent to about 1 part carrier medium; sodium acid pyrophosphate present in a ratio of between about 0.001 and about 0.1 part sodium acid pyrophosphate to about 1 part carrier medium; and distilled water present in a ratio of about 0.001 to about 1 part water to about 1 part medium.
A skin moisturizing lotion produced by blending specific quantities of peanut oil, rose water, olive oil, anhydrous lanolin, and natural lemon oil. The ingredients are blended to a fluid texture and applied to the skin in quantities as desired by the user. The product contains no alcohol, emulsifiers or preservatives. It may be stored at temperatures ranging from about 55.degree. to 90.degree. F. and, preferably 59.degree. to 86.degree. F.
A system for moisturizing the skin and decreasing established acne is presented. The system consist of a therapeutic preparation comprised of bananas, orange juice, and coconut milk. An alternative procedure consist of the use of a conventional cleanser, toner, facial scrub, and moisturizer. These preparations provide moisturizing benefits, performs a skin sloughing treatment, and alleviates many undesirable skin conditions, including acne. The preparation is used with a facial mask which seals the therapeutic skin treatment on the skin and protects the skin from bacteria and contaminants.
A citrus scented cosmetic is described wherein citrus water distillate is substituted for some or all of the distilled and/or deionized water typically used as an ingredient in the cosmetic. Citrus water distillate is an economical, environmentally-friendly source of purified "soft" water which imparts a natural citrus odor to the cosmetic.
