4704835 - Hook strip for removable wall panels

Removable partition systems of the type embodying top and bottom tracks enclosing a plurality of channel shaped vertical studs and vertical wall panels secured to the studs by means of hooks extending from the inner surface of the panel to engage notches defined in the studs. The improvement consists in a hook strip secured to the inner face of the wall panel and including a hardened planar surface and a downwardly extending hook. The hook includes inclined top and bottom edges, a horizontal bight and an inwardly protruding camming surface. The horizontal bight rests upon the bottom of the notch, while the camming surface tension fits the inner surface of the stud so as to securely mount the wall panel with respect to the stud.

6612090 - Non-combustible panel wall system - Owned by Corden; David A. (Knoxville, TN)

Panel wall system including a plurality of standards, each formed from a non-combustible material and mounted in a spaced-apart upright attitude on a supporting surface. Each standard includes a planar face web and opposite side webs. A plurality of lugs project from the side webs along the length of the standard and serve to removably mount panel members between adjacent standards. All components of the wall system are of a non-combustible material.

7533508 - Connector for connecting building components - Owned by The Steel Network, Inc. (Raleigh, NC)

A connector or clip is provided for connecting a metal stud or other member to a support structure. The connector or clip includes a connecting plate for connecting to the stud or other member. A base plate extends from the connecting plate and is adapted to mount to the support structure. A juncture or fold line is defined between the connecting plate and the base plate. One or more ribs are formed in the base plate and extend generally perpendicular to the juncture. In one embodiment, an upturned edge is formed along one side of the base plate opposite the juncture. Further, a reinforcing member is adapted to be secured to the base plate such that both the base plate and reinforcing member can be secured to an adjacent support surface or structure via a connecting fastener.
