Abstract
The specification discloses a removable swimming pool comprising a plurality of side wall panels and deck panels, a flexible liner, and a facing member, which is connected between the deck and side wall panels, and extends around the inside marginal edge of the pool. The facing member depends from the deck panels to a point disposed normally adjacent to the water line of the pool, and overlies an upper portion of the liner to alleviate deterioration and damage thereto. A plurality of braces are provided to support the deck panels thereon and simultaneously anchor the side wall panels in the ground.

4825605 - Closure device for wall opening - Owned by Wexco Incorporated (York, PA)

An arrangement to close an unwanted opening in wall is provided wherein the area of the opening when it has been plugged presents a surface which is flush with the face of the wall. The opening closure system provided permits the use of otherwise surplus unusable modular wall panels to be converted to plain panels that are readily integrated into a swimming pool wall structure. The closure plugs are formed so as to have a dual wall thickness; a central portion having an area co-extensive with the area of the opening to be plugged and a peripheral "frame" portion of a lesser thickness which abuts against the back of the panel portion which frames the opening in the panel. Teeth or mounting screw hole filling protuberance may be integrally formed on the peripheral portion of the closure plug to fill screw or fastener holes present in the wall contiguous to the opening which is to be closed.

6862756 - Walk-on tray for concealing a pool cover operation system - Owned by Pool Cover Specialists National, Inc. (West Jordon, UT)

A walk-on tray apparatus for concealing a pool cover operation system, is disclosed. A plurality of brackets each having a load-bearing upper portion may be attached to a sidewall of an elongate recess formed at one end of a pool, such that the load-bearing upper portions of the brackets extend in a substantially horizontal orientation. A plurality of platform sections each include a mortar veneer, a tray with an attachment plate removably disposed beneath an under side of the tray, and a nut-tightening arrangement, such that the load-bearing upper portions may be securely sandwiched between the under side of the tray and the attachment plate. The platform sections may reside in a side-by-side, sequential series. The mortar veneer may be formed directly on the tray, and the facade may be modified and customized to match the appearance of the perimeter sections of a pool deck. The veneer may be composed of mortar, resin and negligible amounts of fiberglass particles, forming an elastic composition.

5330151 - Partially reusable swimming pool wall form

A swimming pool wall is constructed with a partially removable form. The form includes a removable panel for molding an inside surface of the pool wall and a continuous sheet for molding an outside surface of the wall. Sleeves are attached to an outer face of the panel for suspending the panel from partially buried stakes. A series of regularly spaced uprights support the continuous sheet. Braces carried by the uprights space the continuous sheet apart from an inner face of the panel, forming a cavity for pouring the swimming pool wall. Fasteners extend through mounting holes in the panel for removably attaching the panel to the braces.

5192162 - Pool apparatus and method of making

An apparatus and method is disclosed for an improved swimming pool comprising a base forming the bottom of the pool. A plurality of upright supports are disposed about the base with a side wall sheet being affixed to the plurality of upright supports. The side wall sheet has an inner surface and an outer surface. An inner coating is disposed on the inner surface and is disposed on the base for affixing the side wall sheet to the base and for forming an interior surface for the pool. An outer coating is disposed on the outer surface for affixing the side wall sheet to the plurality of upright supports.

7412802 - Swimming pool formed of interconnecting panels with supporting buttresses - Owned by Caravelle International, Inc. (Schuykill Haven, PA)

A wall and buttress construction for swimming pools in which deck support extensions can be secured to the top of the buttresses. The wall includes a plurality of panels having end flanges at the sides of the panels, and a double slotted peg is provided. One of the slots is shorter to receive a wedge when a peg is placed through two abutting panel end flanges, and the other slot being longer to accommodate a wedge when the peg is being used to join a brace as well as two abutting end flanges. The end flanges have elongated openings therethrough for receiving the pegs that are oriented diagonally, rather than either vertically or horizontally. The elongated openings, pegs and wedges are easily visible/accessible for inserting pegs as a result of the diagonal orientation.
