A tray providing better bottom strength and better stacking strength. The tray has a double-ply base panel which will not bulge to the extent a single-ply tray would. Double-ply lower end panels are attached to the double-ply base panel. These lower end panels in conjunction with the upper end panels, the side end flaps and the interior locking panels provide quintuple-ply end sections which provide better strength.
Locking panels are employed to prevent the collapse of a merchandise display of the type having two sets of end closure flaps that arrange themselves into common closures in an erect condition of the display. Each locking panel overlies a respective closure and engages opposite walls of the display.
The invention relates to a ventilated case, specifically designed for fruit and vegetable products, of the type made of corrugated cardboard or other like material, comprising a case body defining therein a holding space delimited by a bottom, two longitudinal sides and two transversal and opposite heads. The main feature of the invention is that each of the two heads is provided with at least two beveled or rounded corners, and that the longitudinal sides coupling the heads are provided with at least a perforated portion, slanted with respect to the vertical line or having a curved profile.
The present invention is directed to a container and container blank for shipping and displaying product that are generally flat and round. In accordance with the present invention, a single sheet of foldable material is cut and scored to define a container blank. The blank includes a variety of panels, flaps and tabs, that when erected, form a container that includes an interior volume having gussets in the corners. The gusseted corners provide a contact surface for product stability within the container. Likewise, the gussets provide overall stability and increased strength to the container. The container includes top panels that close the container.
