4428136 - Adjustable multi-bay display - Owned by Trans-World Manufacturing Corporation (East Rutherford, NJ)

A display unit for merchandise wherein a plurality of bays are created against a wall or partition. The bays are formed from a series of pairs of angularly arranged vertical panels secured to the wall and spaced from each other; the space between each pair of vertical panels constitutes a bay. The wall is provided with a subsidiary header for placards or the like. Each of the individual panels secured to the wall is provided with a header, the panel header being arranged and curved so that it appears to blend into the principal header on the wall. The plurality of bays increases the surface area available for the presentation of merchandise and provides an automatic separation or groupings of merchandise while nevertheless leaving all of the merchandise visible.

7434340 - Stackable folding display structure

A foldable display is provided having at least three panels hingedly connected to each other, wherein the panels include means for receiving corresponding means on other displays for interlocking and stacking the displays. In the preferred embodiment, these means comprise at least two slits provided at the top of each display and at least two slits provided at the bottom of each display, which slits cooperate to create complementary tabs on adjacent displays, which tabs interlock with each other to frictionally attach one display on top of another. A separate header unit, also including slits disposed therein, may be mounted to the top of an assembled display to further buttress the structural stability of the unit.

5291700 - Activities module

An activities module is positioned on a support surface, such as the floor of a room, to provide activity stations with horizontal work surfaces. The module includes an upright post member that has at least two vertical grooves. A flat panel has an opening sized to receive the post member when the flat panel is oriented horizontally, and upright partition panels are provided corresponding to the vertical grooves in the post member. Each partition panel has an inner edge fitted into the groove, an outer edge and a bottom edge that rests on the support surface. The partition panels each have a slot to receive the flat, horizontal panel, and fasteners secure the module together. A second flat, horizontal panel may similarly be mounted below the first flat panel, and a third flat, horizontal panel may provide a shelf or bench. Preferably, the first flat panel is circular and the upright post is located centrally thereof; four partition panels are spaced around the center post to divide the module into four activity stations.

4972634 - Portable walling

A portable wall assemblage is provided in a multiple of interlocking rigid panels. The portable walling can be removably affixed immediately adjacent an interior wall without the use of nail or screws. Each interlocking rectangular panel is formed of a fire retardant, acoustical material which can be trimmed with a household utility knife. One side of the panel is affixed with a thin layer of decorated paper or fabric for aesthetic purposes while the other side of the panel supports peripheral ridges which space the panel from the wall surface. These ridges against the wall produce an enclosed air space which provides an added measure of sound absorbtion. A central transverse seam allows folding of each panel for easy storage and transportation. Spring biased U-shaped capping brackets on the top edge of each panel provides pressure type frictional maintenance of the assembled panels vertically between the ceiling and floor of a room. The panel assemblage can be free standing or placed flush against the wall. Accessory attachments are provided for accessing electrical outlets.

5570735 - Multi-functional plastic automobile shade - Owned by Merryland Products, Inc. (Lewisville, TX)

A multi-functional plastic board is adopted to be attached to inside or outside of an automobile. The shade comprises a single piece of board with four folding panels. The board is a rigid, lightweight and durable corrugated plastic board which has smooth surfaces on both sides of the board and fine channels therebetween. The four panels are divided by three cutting lines, while adjacent ones of the panels are connected with integral portions therebetween. Each of the cutting lines are divided by the integral portions into segments. Two scoring lines are formed near each of the integral portions on respective adjacent panels so that the panels can be folded along the cutting lines. A plurality of holes are provided respectively at each corner of the board and the panels. Ropes with steel wire core are provided for attaching the shade to inside or outside of the automobile in association with the holes.
