The present invention relates to the construction of a magnetic medical treatment member comprising a flat magnetic press element mounted upon a sticking surface of a sticking member for providing simultaneously a finger-pressure effect and a magnetic medical treatment effect. The conventional magnetic medical treatment member of this type has such a construction that a plurality of projections for locally stimulating a surface of skin are mounted on a surface of a flat magnetic press element near the central portion thereof and thus a sufficiently enough medical treatment effect can not be provided owing to the weakness of lines of magnetic force. Besides, the flat magnetic press element of this type made of magnetic materials prepared by compression molding powdery materials such as ferrite and then sintering the resulting molded products is rough to the touch and unattractive and consequently a psychological medical treatment effect can not be expected. According to the present invention, lines of magnetic force are concentrated onto the positions of projections (4) to succeed in the improvement of a magnetic medical treatment effect by means of a magnetic medical treatment member by mounting projections (4) upon a surface of a flat magnetic press element (3) along a periphery portion thereof and forming angle portions (5), convex portions (6) and concave portions (7) on side walls of said flat magnetic press element (3) at the positions corresponding to said projections (4). Besides, the touch and looking of said flat magnetic press (3) element are improved by forming a metal layer (9) on a surface of said flat magnetic press element (3) by means of plating process and thus also a psychological medical treatment effect can be added.
A continuously magnetizing magnet for use in bedding for magnetic medical treatment is made of magnetic material whose semicircular crests and semicircular bases are alternately combined in series and the crests are magnetized so that they have alternately N and S magnetic poles. As the magnetic poles are isolated via the base, the magnetic lines of force are vertically generated and the magnetic density at a position upwardly far from both magnetic poles increases.
A flexible magnetic sheet is made of a rubbery synthetic material in which magnetic ferrite particles have been embedded and which one surface of the sheet has a grid pattern of ridges and depressions. The magnetic material is magnetized so that one pole is one each surface. The magnetic lines of force are generated substantially in a plane.
This invention provides a sticking type magnetic therapeutic device having both N- and S-poles formed on one side of a permanent magnet body, whereby emitted magnetic lines of force are totally applied within the human body, resulting in effectual and effective application during therapeutic treatment, while avoiding the ill effect of extraneous magnetic lines of force on other electronic items such as magnetic cards, wrist watches or the like.
An acupressure device for applying pressure to specific points on a human body comprises a stimulator (14) which is attached to a flexible cinching strap or band (10) of a length sufficient to extend circumferentially around a body part, including a releasable connecting means to facilitate the positioning and securing of the terminus of the stimulator against a specific point on the human body. The stimulator has a convex curved side (26) which is attached to the flexible strap. Opposite the curved side and extending therefrom, an elongated protuberance (20) extends and terminates in a blunt or pointed surface end (22). This end can be made to contact and apply pressure to a selected point on the user's body by extending the strap around a portion of the body and tightening same with the terminus of the stimulator in proper position.
A treatment patch includes a patch body having a contacting surface for placing on a skin surface of a treating tissues of a user, and a dressing layer which is provided on the contacting surface containing positively charged metallic ions for depolarizing negative ions accumulated under the skin surface of the treating tissues, wherein a far infrared ray emitter disposed on the. patch body for emitting far infrared rays penetrating into the treating tissues through the skin surface so as to provide an ion passway between the skin surface in contact with the dressing layer of the patch body and the treating tissues so as to enhance the depolarization of the positively charged ions of the dressing layer with the negative ions around the treating tissues of the user to relieve pain.
