To permit the closing of a slot (3) in an upper or gaiter (2) of a skiing boot, the confronting edge portions (4) defining the slot (3) carry outwardly protruding cams (5), which are formed with bearing holes (7), in which a U-shaped fastener (8) is pivoted on an axis that is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the slot (3). The confronting side faces of the legs (11) of the fastener (8) are adapted to cooperate with the outside surfaces (6) of the cams. Said outside surfaces (6) consist of inclined or helical surfaces so that the fastener (8) can be pivotally moved to approach the opposite edges (4) of the slot to each other.
A ski boot having a shell and a shaft hinged to the shell for the support of the skier's leg. The shell consists of a lower part enclosing the foot and of a raised shell part. The ski boot has furthermore a device for controlling the pivotal resistance during pivoting of the shaft of the boot relative to the lower part of the shell. The device includes a spacer arranged in a slot on the raised shell part. This spacer is hinged according to the invention slidingly movably on the load arm of a rotatable crank axle arranged in the shaft of the ski boot. The axle includes a power arm carrying an operating member.
The present invention provides a ski boot including an outer member and an inner member inserted therein, in which a carrying hanger is provided in a prescribed position on the outer member and has a taken-out handle so that the hanger can be taken out from the outer member and grasped by the hand of a person for him or her to carry the boot as the hanger remains coupled with the outer member.
A ski boot comprising a lower shell (1) on which a boot leg (5) in the form of a collar fitted with tightening buckles (6, 7) is articulated. At the rear, the boot leg (5) is provided with a slot (9) extending, from the upper edge, over most of its height. This slot has overthicknesses (12, 13) of matching profile which are fitted into each other under the effect of a slide (20) whose movement closes and opens the slot in the manner of a zipper. This construction allows wide opening of the boot leg for putting the boot on the taking it off.
