4728758 - Load break switch and interlock assembly - Owned by Siemens Energy & Automation (Atlanta, GA)

A load break switch and interlock assembly is housed in a cabinet with a door. The switch assembly is oriented 90.degree. from a normal position along the backwall of the cabinet and is located on a sidewall. The switch handle protrudes through the front of the cabinet. The handle is horizontally oriented to interfere with the door when the switch is closed thereby preventing the door from being opened. When the switch is open, the handle is vertically oriented and does not interfere with the door.

4626638 - Operating system for remote electrical equipment - Owned by Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)

A system for operating electrical equipment such as circuit breakers from a remote point is disclosed. A flexible push-pull type cable connects a linkage coupled to a pivoted handle and to a remote slider mechanism. The slider serves as a slave operator to effect reciprocation of a handle or similar operator element.

4724288 - Switchboard cell for receiving switchgear movable by positioning drive - Owned by Siemens Aktiengesellschaft (Munich,DE)

A safety device against movement of switchgear in a switchboard cell with the door of the switchboard cell open, comprises a latch which cooperates with the recesses of a guide rod, the front end of which carries a stop. The stop precedes the head piece on the operating side of a threaded spindle of a positioning drive for a switchgear and can, with the door of the switching installation closed, be displaced by a tool provided for operating the threaded spindle, until the tool comes into engagement with the head. If the door of the switchboard cell is not closed, the latch engages one of the recesses of the guide rod of the stop and thereby prevents engagement of the tool with the head of the threaded spindle.

5272296 - Molded case circuit breaker variable actuator mechanism - Owned by General Electric Company (New York, NY)

A remote actuator for an enclosed molded case circuit breaker utilizes an actuator cable connection with the circuit breaker operating handle in a "pull-pull" arrangement. The cable is arranged in an endless loop between the actuator handle and the circuit breaker operating handle. Moving the actuator handle in a first direction pulls the circuit breaker operating handle to its ON position while moving the actuator handle in an opposite direction pulls the circuit breaker operating handle to its OFF position.

5814777 - Cable interlock system for circuit breakers - Owned by Siemens Energy & Automation,Inc. (Alpharetta, GA)

A cable interlock system for preventing at least two circuit breakers from being closed at the same time, comprising a first circuit breaker having a first operating handle, wherein the first operating handle is adapted to close or open the first circuit breaker, a second circuit breaker having a second operating handle, wherein the second operating handle is adapted to close or open the second circuit breaker, a first mounting bracket that is attached or secured to or otherwise associated with the first circuit breaker, a first lever arm movably attached or secured to or otherwise associated with the first mounting bracket, a second mounting bracket that is attached or secured to or otherwise associated with the second circuit breaker, a second lever arm movably attached or secured to or otherwise associated with the second mounting bracket, a cable assembly having one end adapted to be connected to the first lever arm of the first mounting bracket and having another end adapted to be connected to the second lever arm of the second mounting bracket, wherein said cable assembly and the first lever arm and the second lever arm operate together so as to prevent the first operating handle and the second operating handle from both being in the closed position.
