An elongate container for drinking water formed from a resilient laterally deformable polymerized resin. The container has a wide mouth neck that has first coarse threads on the exterior thereof that are threadedly and frictionally engaged by second coarse threads on the interior of the combined closure and drinking water dispensing assembly. The assembly has a water dispensing tube projecting outwardly therefrom through which a jet of drinking water is discharged when the container is squeezed by an athlete. The assembly rotatably supports an inverted cup shaped guard, which guard is free to rotate thereon. Visual insignia are provided on the guard to axially align first and second pairs of openings in the closure and guard to permit an elongate rigid member to be extended therethrough, and used to twist the closure assembly into binding frictional engagement with the neck. The elongate member when removed from the openings allows the guard to rotate freely on the closure. Rotation of the guard by an athlete will have no effect on loosening the combined closure and water dispensing assembly from the container to allow the athletes to drink directly from the neck of the container which is unsanitary.
A portable receptacle, to be carried by a golfer, to repair and restore divot marks by dispensing sand and related granular material on the golf course. The receptacle comprises a canister housing and an axially movable, spring biased member that moves between a dispensing position and a non-dispensing position. Cooperating with the axially movable member is an internal vane member that ensures proper dispensing of the sand or sand mixture.
A squeezable, insulated drink bottle includes a flexible, semi-rigid, plastic beverage container that fits inside of and in spaced relationship to a flexible, semi-rigid plastic housing. An inwardly oriented flange around a top opening of the housing locks into a groove under a cover shoulder of the beverage container. Recesses in the housing facilitate gripping of drink bottle.
A bottle and drinking tube assembly is provided for dispensing of liquids. The bottle has an open top body formed from a resilient plastic material and is adapted to be collapsed upon application of moderate hand pressure and a cap for closing the top through which the bottle is filled. An aperture is formed in the cap for receiving an elongated drinking tube that extends to the bottom of the bottle and has an end exterior of the bottle from which the liquid is discharged. A fluid seal is formed between the cap and tube. A selectively operable venting valve is also provided in the cap to alternatively permit airflow into the bottle enabling the user to sip the liquid through the tube or to prevent fluid outflow from the bottle when the bottle is collapsed to forcibly expel liquid through the tube.
A beverage dispensing system is disclosed for use during recreational activities. The beverage dispensing system includes a container and a holding element which is used to retain the container and secure it to the person. The beverage container is made of a lightweight, squeezable, durable material having either a spray, nozzle, tubestraw, pump, or poppet valve. The beverage dispensing system may include fasteners useful in securing the container to the holding element. The holding element can be made of a durable, lightweight material and includes a pocket or functionally similar attachment dimensioned and configured to receive the container. In practice, the user secures the holding element onto the appropriate body part (e.g. forearm) and then places the container, filled with an appropriate quantity of a beverage, into the pocket. The container is now within easy reach of the user, and outdoor exercises may be easily performed.
