A detachable shoulder pad for a bicycle covering a portion of the top and seat tubes of the bicycle frame comprising two identical outer sheets interconnected by a belt-like strap, a sponge sheet having recessed grooves in a longitudinal direction and having a width less than the width of the outer sheet, fixed to each outer sheet in a longitudinal direction only at central portions thereof and engageable members attached to opposite surfaces of projections of the outer sheet extending beyond the sponge sheet.
A bag for mounting on the cross bar of a bicycle. The bag includes flap portions unitary with the bag walls and extending above the bag pocket. The flap portion on one wall being wrapped around the bicycle cross bar and joined together by hook and loop fastener materials to support the bag and its contents. The flap portion on the other wall folds over the top opening of the bag and fastens to the flap on the first wall thereby covering the opening.
A shoulder protection device releasably mountable within the U-shaped channels of a ladder to provide support during shoulder supported transportation thereof, including a mounting arrangement for releasably mounting the device within the U-shaped channel of a ladder, a recess formed in the device to accommodate ladders having a pivotably mounted cross-brace and a shim assembly for permitting the device to be mounted on ladders having various U-shaped channel depths and various cross-brace constructions. The device may also include a strip that will protect the clothing of the user of the device, a tether and/or storage arrangement for holding the device to the ladder.
A shoulder protection device for carrying a ladder on the shoulder of a carrier. The protection device includes a resilient cushion having at least one slot extending therethrough and at least one releasable strap extending through the slot. The releasable strap may be wrapped around the ladder to secure the resilient cushion in place such that the resilient cushion is in contact with the shoulder of the carrier.
The present invention provides for a ladder carrying device that can be used to carry a ladder either over or under a carrier's shoulder. The ladder carrying device of the present invention can be mounted in a variety of different positions on the side rails and/or rungs of a ladder, thereby allowing the ladder carrying device to be positioned according to the carrier's preference.
The support of this invention includes a pellet of rigid plastic material. The pellet has two opposed faces one of which bears a coupling means, the other being covered by a layer of adhesive material with an interposed layer of flexible material. The pellet exhibits grooves defining flexure zones. The support may thus be fastened to non-planar surfaces.
