Disclosed is a cable connector in which a body portion has an anchor and anchor connector. A cable clamp of flat material with threaded edges at one end is provided with an interior cable grip in the form of a hole. A cable clamp slot is provided in the body of the connector to receive the flat cable clamp. After the strand end of the cable is inserted into the cable grip hole, a cable clamp nut threadedly engages the nut threads of the cable clamp and moves the clamp into a tight gripping relationship with the cable. In assembling, the cable clamp is force-fitted into the cable clamp slot. To assure alignment, and deburring so that the strand end of the cable will enter the connector easily, a tool is employed to align the cable clamp hole with the cable tube portion of the body, while at the same time deburring the table clamp.
A connector is provided including a plastic bushing having a first bore which extends therethrough in a first direction and a second bore which extends into the bushing in a second direction and intercepts the first bore. A contact extends into one end of the first bore to a surface area facing the second bore, and a central conductor of a coaxial cable may be extended into an opposite end of the first bore to such contact. A retaining member may be inserted into the second bore until the retaining member engages the central conductor to sandwich the central conductor between such retaining member and the contact. The plastic bushing may be inserted into a conductive connector shell which is connected to the coaxial cable and engages a shield layer of such coaxial cable.
An electronic module includes a housing, an electronic circuit arrangement arranged therein, and at least one cylindrical bus bar which is connected to the circuit arrangement and which projects through an opening formed at the housing to form a connection area with electric connection leads. In order to provide a module with strain relief that is protected against external influences, a substantially plate-shaped connection lug whose radial extension exceeds that of the bus bar is formed at the bus bar, and a connection unit is arranged at the housing in order to form the connection area. The connection unit has a base plate which contacts the housing and which has an opening through which the connection lug is guided at least partially and can be received in a positive engagement by the connection unit. The bus bar is secured in position by a closure element that is arranged at the connection unit on the housing side.
A terminal for an electrical connector comprises a pin having a channel for receiving an electrical conductor cable. A screw threaded into the pin secures the electrical cable in the channel by applying pressure to the cable by rotation of the screw. A pressure transfer element is positioned between the screw and the channel for applying pressure from the screw to the cable in the channel to secure the cable in the opening. The pressure transfer element is mounted in such a manner as to allow movement of the element towards the cable but to prevent rotary movement of the element relative to the said channel to prevent distortion of the cable.
