Abstract
The present invention provides a hand dispenser for a liquid product that includes a resilient closed container mounted upon a base. The container, which has a discharge port connected to a dispensing orifice for the liquid product, is movable between a first position, which closes the discharge port and makes the dispenser adapted for traveling, shipment, and the like. The container also has a second position, which opens the discharge port and places the dispenser in the dispensing mode. The dispenser, when in the dispensing mode, is manually operated by squeezing the container, which dispenses a portion of the liquid product; upon return of the resilient container to its original shape, the level of the liquid drops, and a lesser pressure is created in the air pocket over the liquid product, thus causing atmospheric air to press back any movement of liquid product toward the dispensing orifice.

Extension for bottle dispenser, in particular for food product, having a stopper part (10) to be applied on the mouth of the bottle and provided with a spout (11) curved downwards, comprising in a single piece: a conduit portion (20) in continuation of the cavity of the spout (11) into which can be inserted with interference a vertical tubular cavity portion (21) into which converges the conduit portion (20), comprising an inner core (22) and coaxial outer cylindrical wall (23); a cladding portion (28) in continuation of the vertical tubular cavity portion (21) and brace (29) that surrounds the stopper part (10) of the dispenser; and a distinct elastomeric valve (3) to close the vertical tubular cavity portion (21)

4930668 - Dispensing package for dispensing liquids - Owned by Owens-Illinois Plastic Products Inc. (Toledo, OH)

A dispensing package for dispensing liquid comprising an injection blow molded container having a flexible body and a neck comprising an outer wall and an inner wall. The inner wall defines a dispensing opening. A closure has a transverse wall, a peripheral skirt and a peripheral foot for engaging a flat surface. Threads between the closure and the outer wall hold the transverse wall in sealing engagement with the inner wall of the neck for closing the dispensing opening. The closure is movable axially relative to the container between a first position sealingly engaging the neck of the container and a second position wherein fluid is permitted to flow to an outlet in the skirt so that when the wall of the container is flexed a portion of the contents is dispensed.

4635828 - Liquid container dispensing cap structure

A liquid dispenser is described which comprises a substantially airtight container for storing liquid to be dispensed with the container being formed with a downwardly-extending, constricted liquid passageway and a cap member with an open top in liquid-sealed engagement with the lower end of the container to define a chamber within the cap member and surrounding the liquid passageway, the cap member having an outlet positioned above the lower end of the liquid passageway in the chamber such that when an increase of pressure is established within the container liquid is expelled through the outlet.

4645097 - Sidewall dispenser

A liquid dispenser is described which dispenses liquid through a sidewall of the dispenser. The dispenser includes an air pocket structure in a lower portion adjacent the container base and a dispensing exit at the same level as the air pocket structure. The dispenser can be squeezed to reduce the volume in the container and cause liquid to be ejected from the dispensing exit. The exit and air pocket structure are proportioned so that on release of pressure, air is sucked-back into the dispenser through the exit and air pocket to remove liquid in the exit and eliminate dripping. The air pocket is also designed to compensate for temperature increases of 30.degree. F. to 40.degree. F. without having product leakage. The dispenser can accommodate liquids of different viscosities and various preferred embodiments are disclosed for different dispenser applications.

Interengaging means between the closure and the outer wall hold the transverse wall in sealing engagment with the inner wall of the neck for closing the dispensing opening. The closure is movable axially relative to the container between a first position sealingly engaging the neck of the container and a second position wherein fluid is permitted to flow to an outlet so that when the wall of the container is flexed a portion of the contents is dispensed. In one form, the outlet is in the skirt. In another form, the outlet is in the transverse wall.
