Corner assembly of a first and a second structural member disposed at an angle. Each member has an inner open ended chamber formed by spaced inner and outer webs of the members. A corner connector member has a first and a second leg snugly fitting into one of the chambers. The inner web of the first structural member has a pair of openings and the first leg has likewise a pair of openings which are in registry with the first openings transversely of the first leg. A pair of securing projections, solid with the inner web of the second structural member is formed with a pair of third openings. The securing projections extend through the first and second openings. The first leg has a fourth opening which extends lengthwise and in registry with the third opening. Locking bolts pass successively through the third openings and through the fourth openings, the latter being tapped so that the locking bolt threads therewith to secure the structural members and the connector member together to form the corner assembly.
This invention relates to a suspension apparatus for control devices which can be assembled from a connection flange or connection rotary joint, support beam sections, angle units, or intermediate joints, which can be connected with a wall or a machine body and a coupling unit which can be connected with the control device. The support beam sections have an essentially U-shaped base profile section and a closing cover profile secton. The base profile section, with a separating bar positioned parallel to its bar, is divided into a support part constructed as a closed hollow profile and an open U-shaped mounting part turned away from the bar. In the support part and in the mounting part, longitudinally directed and penetrating connecting bars are integrally formed with screw mountings. The angle comprising a corner connector and a covering cap creates, for such suspension apparatus, a rigid, highly-stressable corner connector between support beam sections placed perpendicular to one another. When the covering cap is removed, the connection lines are easily conducted, and can then be covered by means of the covering cap.
A stage platform assembly including a corner extrusion member for engagement in a box channel member, and a corner securing member for engagement about tongues of the corner extrusion member at the four corners of sections of the box channel member. A stage platform, such as plywood, secures in a protected fashion to the box channel member. Posts or other elevational members can engage in the corner extrusion member for securing sections of the stage platform together. Locks can also be utilized to secure the stage platform assemblies together.
A connection arrangement with profiled parts contains, in at least one hollow chamber in a profiled part, a connecting element by means of which a connection with the other profile part is effected. The purpose of the invention is to provide, at low manufacturing cost, a reliable connection and to eliminate any after-treatment of surfaces in the vicinity of the connection. It is proposed that the connecting element be secured to the web of the first profiled part and that a length thereof projects, prior to welding, beyond the front surface; and that, after welding, the weld-zone be arranged in the hollow-chamber in the second profiled part and be at a distance from the adjacent front surfaces of the profiled parts.
A corner lock includes a first member that is secured to a first window frame segment and a second member that is secured to the first member and a second window frame segment. The first member is inserted into an opening in an end of the first window frame segment, and a partial turn thereof anchors the first member relative to the first window frame segment. A ring on a protruding end of the first member abuts an end of the second window frame segment, and the second member inserts through this ring and is secured within the end of the second window frame segment.
A frame connection structure for use in connecting tubular or open channel elements one to another includes two or more inserts configured for respective insertion within the elements to be interconnected. Each of the inserts defines one or more channels therein, each channel being configured to be aligned with a respective aperture defined within the tubular/open channel element in which it is to be retained. A connection member is positioned within each aperture and its aligned respective insert channel. A portion of the tubular/open channel member proximate the aperture is displaced into the channel of the insert member whereby the that portion of the tubular/open channel member is disposed intermediate the sidewall of the channel and the connection member. The two inserts are configured to be connectable one to another. Each insert is therefore securely associated with a respective tubular/open channel member and the inserts are connectable one to another to facilitate the construction of a frame assembly.
