Abstract
A lifting device for animals, such as downer cows, has an inflatable bag (1) on a stabilizing frame (2). When inflated, the bag has a valley (4), accentuated at one end, for the cow's belly and udder. A harness (3) is provided for strapping the cow to the bag. A cow can be rolled on to the deflated bag and strapped on, and as inflation proceeds she is raised up straddling the bag. This ultimately takes her entire weight while circulation is restored. The bag may be compartmented so that inflation can be progressive from one compartment to the next, assisting the lifting procedure.

5842443 - Animal lifting means

An animal lifting apparatus comprising a frame including longitudinal members, forward strut, rear strut on which is mounted a hindquarter support, a harness support attached to frame gambrel being connected to a frame by straps, received by slots in outriggers extending from the spine of gambrel, and the gambrel being connectable to a weight lifting device via a chain passing through an eye.

7421746 - Toilet installing assembly and method

A toilet installing assembly includes a bladder that has an upper panel and a lower panel sealed together along peripheral edges of the upper and lower panels. The bladder is selectively inflatable and is substantially planar when not inflated and has a generally rounded shape when the bladder is inflated. An inlet valve is fluidly coupled to the bladder. The bladder is positioned around a toilet drain and then inflated. A toilet is positioned on the bladder. The toilet is aligned with the toilet drain and with a plurality of mounting studs. The bladder is then deflated and the toilet lowered onto the studs.

5148956 - Article carrier

A flexible article carrier having a flexible rectangular body with reinforcing panel attached to it which by sewing can be formed into pockets. Three strap combinations are fixed to what is normally the outside of the carrier, the first is for mounting the carrier on a persons body, the second is holding the carrier in a folded article carrying position and the third is for endwise retention of a carried article. A measuring scale and weigh scale lifting loops are provided to gain information about the article which is detailed in a record book held in a further pocket on the outside. Stiffening stays in the mid portion of the carrier give added support to the carried article.
