A primary pan assembly adapted to be mounted to the motor of an air conditioning system which comprises a primary pan provided with a drainage hole on at least one side thereof and stud members extending from the bottom thereof, a support bracket disposed to support the primary pan, height-adjustable brackets operatively connected with said support bracket at opposite end portions thereof for varying the height of said height-adjustable brackets relative to each other, said height-adjustable brackets containing apertures for slidably receiving the stud members of said primary pan, and a motor mount bracket for mounting the pan assembly to the motor, said motor mount bracket containing means for mounting the support bracket to said motor mount.
An improved primary pan for use in an air conditioning system which includes a C-shaped plastic pan having a raised portion or a rail disposed on the outside surface of the bottom thereof, a channeled supporting bracket having a plurality of elongated apertures for engaging the raised portion of the rail of the plastic pan, and a pair of fan covers having a channel disposed on the outside surface of the top and a circumferential raised portion disposed around a lower outlet thereof for effectively mounting to bracket and separating from the supporting bracket to the plastic pan with only two pairs of screws.
A condensate pan is adapted for use in either a left or right horizontal fan coil installation, and includes left and right mirror image sides interconnected with a central section having on its lower surface a riser near one end, and each of the halves having a drainage opening on the other end, such that when thee evaporator coil is placed in the condensate pan, the pan is tipped about the riser to lower one side and raise the other, depending on whether its a left or right horizontal installation, such that drainage occurs from the lower side drainage opening. The drainage opening is so located with respect to the floor of the pan that, when a drain pipe is threadably connected thereto, its lower inner surface is disposed vertically below the pan floor to thereby enhance its drainage characteristics.
A plastic primary pan assembly for use in conjunction with an air conditioning system, wherein a channeled supporting bracket is utilized to tightly engage and effectively support a plastic pan which includes a C-shaped circumferential portion having a pair of channels, the channeled supporting bracket having a plurality of elongated apertures being mounted on motor and fan covers which a C-shaped circumferential recess having a pair of rails for smoothly engaging with the plastic pan, whereby the plastic primary pan assembly can be easily associated with and separate from the air conditioning system and easily adjusted to incline the plastic primary pan for drawing condensate water through an outlet disposed in the plastic primary pan.
A plastic primary pan assembly for use in conjunction with an air conditioning system, wherein a channeled supporting bracket is utilized to tightly engage and effectively support a plastic pan which includes a drain plastic pan and a plastic support plate which contains a C-shaped circumferential portion and a C-shaped extending portion thereof, the channeled supporting bracket having a plurality of elongated apertures being mounted on a motor and a fan cover, whereby the plastic primary pan assembly can be easily associated with and separate from the air conditioning system and easily adjusted to incline the plastic primary pan for drawing condensate water through an outlet disposed in the plastic primary pan.
An air conditioning system includes an air cleaner and a plastic drain pan assembly, which contains a drain pan, a fan cover supporting bracket having a plurality of slant barriers and a radiator supporting bracket having a horizontally elongated slant valley for slantingly receiving a radiator.
