Abstract
The fishing rod holder includes an elongated, open ended tubular member for receiving the end of a fishing rod and a support bracket having a rear end, a front end including a support portion engaged by the tubular member and located above the rear end, and an elongated base portion located between and below the rear end front ends. The upper portion of the tubular member rear end is connected to the upper edge of the support bracket rear end for pivotal movement of the tubular member through a generally vertical plane and about a pivot axis located rearwardly and above the longitudinal axis of the tubular member between a forwardly inclined resting position engaging the support portion of the bracket and a raised position. The base portion of the bracket is removably mounted on a support, such as boat oarlock, a troll board, pier, or the like, by a pin which is mounted on and depends from the base portion and fits into a hole in the support. The pin preferably is removably mounted on the bracket by a bolt extending through an aperture in the base portion and threaded into the pin and the base portion includes a plurality of such apertures so that the inclination angle of the tubular member can be adjusted by moving the bolt from one aperture to another.

5564670 - Cleat mounted holding device

A device that can be fixed to a cleat mounted on a boat, dock, deck, pier, or wherever a cleat is available. The U bar of the cleat mounted holding device is placed around the cleat, the wing bolt is inserted into the threaded hole formed in the short bar of the U bar and the wing bolt is tightened until the U bar compresses the cleat between the elongated bar and the short bar thus securing the U bar to the cleat; the pivot support bar is rotated to the desired direction and angle relative to the cleat. A fishing rod, or an umbrella, a lamp stand or any other desirable device is placed into the support tube.

5184797 - Fishing rod holder

A fishing rod holder for a fishing rod with an open face reel is provided which comprises a tubular rod holder defining a first slot along the longitudinal axis of the tubular rod holder and a second slot communicating transversely from a bottom portion of the first slot in a position transverse to the longitudinal axis of the tubular rod holder.

5160257 - Fishing equipment anchor

A fishing rod and reel assembly having an anchor for securing the assembly against loss. The anchor comprises an anchor body attached to the rod and reel and connecting structure detachably connected to the body. The body comprises a body portion extending between the reel and the rod, body portion movement limiting structure for engaging the rod and reel to prevent separation of the anchor body from the assembly, and end structure detachably connected to the conecting structure. The connecting structure comprises a tether having quick disconnecting spring-clip connectors at its ends.

5377657 - Archery bow holder

An archery bow holder for compound bows is formed of an upper assembly frame attached to a convex curved lower plate. The lower plate has an elongated slot for adjustment and closely fits with a base plate having a concave upper surface and passage for a bolt. The holder may be installed upon a hunter's tree stand or any other suitable surface with a bolt and cooperating nut, and arcuate adjustment for different bows or non level surfaces is provided by the mating curved surfaces of the slotted lower plate and base. The entire assembly including the base may be pivoted about the axis formed by the bolt for alignment as desired. Thus, a single bolt provides for the attachment, arcuate adjustment, and pivotal adjustment of the bow holder. At least some portions of the assembly may be covered or coated with a resilient coating or covering in order to protect a bow being held therein, and also to reduce or prevent noise if the otherwise hard surface of the bow holder were to be struck by another article.

5662306 - Cleat mounted channel holding device

A device that can be fixed to a cleat mounted on a boat, dock, deck, pier or wherever a cleat is available. The L hook or J hook of the device is placed in the cleat gap and the channel is placed over the sides and top of the cleat, the wing nut is tightened, fixing the cleat mounted channel and hook holding device to the top of the cleat and the sides of the cleat. The rod holder, lamp holder, umbrella holder is fixed to the cleat mounted channel and holding device and a fishing rod, lamp, umbrella is placed into the rod holder, lamp holder or umbrella holder.
