Abstract
A sheet of plastic material folded at the middle and forming a pair of side panels, with the juncture edge between the panels lowermost and the panels extending upwardly therefrom, forming a tote. The ends and top are open, and the panels can be opened to a flat position. Plastic pocket pieces are secured to the panels, forming large pockets between themselves and the panels, and certain of those pocket pieces have additional pocket pieces secured thereto to form additional and smaller pockets. All of the plastic pieces are clear and all of the contents of the pockets can be seen from either side of the folded tote either in open or folded position. Plastic carrying handles are secured to the free edges of the panels, and a detachable shoulder strap is also provided. Reinforcing fabric strips are secured to the juncture edge and other edges. A large number of items are carried in the tote for small children, and the tote is most useful in travelling.

4940068 - Folding container

A folder has separate front and back covers with imaginary fold lines between adjacent edges. The covers are apertured near their corners. An elastic tie band connects the front and back covers by interlacing sequentially through the apertures such that the folder opens by rotation of one cover relative to the other in either direction. The folding action causes the elastic tie band to surround inserted contents and hold them in place. The elastic tie band also facilitates removal of contents from the folder.

5743649 - Diaper bag

A diaper bag which contains a number of separate compartments for maximum organization and accessibility, yet is easy to carry. It is comprised of basically a flat rectangular piece of material, to which other materials, both opaque fabric and see through mesh fabric, are sewn as compartments in a configuration designed to arrange the infant care accessories in an orderly fashion. On the opposite side of the main piece of material is yet another compartment sewn on as a pocket. This pocket is lined with plastic, and has three elastic bottle holders within. At either end of the bag straps are sewn on for ease of portability. To carry this bag, one need only fold it in half with the several pockets on the inside of the fold, secure the two ends of the bag with fasteners and carry it by its straps.

5651455 - Utility accessory bag

An accessory bag of generally rectangular configuration and having flexible front and back members. The back member is formed of a generally imperforate flexible material with the front member having a like configuration and formed of an open mesh flexible material with a substantial portion of the periphery thereof secured together. A zipper or the like is attached to the balance of the periphery. The upper and lower edges of opposite sides of the mesh surface are provided with mating fasteners, such as Velcro strips or snaps at positions suitable for enabling coupling of the fasteners to one another with the bag folded with the back member exposed. The mesh material has the openings thereof sufficiently large for enabling insertion of a finger therethrough, whereby the bag may be utilized for small articles such as small clothing items, hair pieces, scarves or the like, which may be viewed through and extracted through the openings of the mesh material by use of a finger without opening the bag. The articles may be partially removed for display as desired. For purpose of hanging the bag, one edge is provided with a pivotable or retractable hook or hanger member, while the opposite edge is provided with a strap or handle to permit carrying the bag.

5577730 - Flexible vinyl chess mat that converts into a carrying case

This invention consists of a flexible vinyl chess mat having two handles on opposite sides, both disposed in opposing positions to each other and centered on the perimeter of the square shaped chess mat, so that when the chess mat is folded in half, both handles line up with each other, making a doubled carrying handle. On one side of the chess mat a typical chess board is printed on the rubberized vinyl side. On the reverse side of the chess mat, when turned over, to expose the cloth backing side, a fastening means is positioned around the perimeter of the chess mat, and permanently attached, creating, when folded in half and fastened, an inside pocket area in which chess pieces and accessories may be carried and stored. The chess mat, when unfastened and emptied, and laid flat on a flat surface, is ready for chess play. The same mat can then be converted into a carrying case for convenient transportation and storage of chess pieces and accessories.

6220318 - Purse with panel permitting custom decoration

A purse has a rear panel made of a dry erasable material on which the user can draw a design that can, as desired, be modified or erased or otherwise changed or altered. The dry erasable material panel also can be decorated by affixing decorative materials such as facial features, artificial hair, ornamentation such as sequins, rhinestones, or any other decorative material. A transparent flap overlies the dry erasable material panel and is fastened in a position overlying the panel through any suitable fastener such as, for example, hook and pile fastening system, snaps, hooks, adhesive or the like. The purse can have a carrying strap.
