Abstract
An apparatus for quick starting of tape forwarding-and-rewinding operation for video cassette recorders, wherein fast-forwarding or rewinding operation of a video tape can be quickly started, because loading plates, which are locked in loading holes as during the recording or reproducing operation, keep the tape being loaded on a head drum, while the tape can be wound by only the driving force to rotate one of the reel discs, because two guide grooves in different shapes are provided on upper and lower surfaces of a cam gear and so a tension pole and a pinch roller come off the tape and the tape gets out of touch with various fixed posts in its travelling route, before the fast-forwarding or rewinding operation is started.

5301897 - Reel brake device of deck in camera-integrated type video cassette recorder system - Owned by Goldstar Co., Ltd. (Seoul,KR)

A reel brake device of a deck in a camera-integrated type video cassette recorder system, comprising a pinch arm having an extension extending downwardly from one side portion of the pinch arm, a first lever connected operatively to the pinch arm and a second lever connected operatively to the first lever and provided with a felt for applying a brake force to a take-up reel. A torsion spring is disposed between the first lever and the second lever to urge the first lever and the second lever away from each other. Pivotal movement of the pinch arm causes the first lever to move pivotally, so that the second lever moves pivotally by virtue of the torsion spring to make the felt come into pressing contact with the take-up reel. In order to compress the torsion spring and thus increase the brake force applied to the take-up reel by the felt, the first lever and the second lever have a pin and a cam slot receiving the pin, respectively.

5469309 - Magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus with stoppers for loading boats - Owned by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (Osaka,JP)

A loading mechanism for a magnetic recording/playback apparatus provides a positioning mechanism which can reliably and fixedly position a loading boat with a quite simple structure when completing an operation of withdrawing a magnetic tape. The invention also provides a loading post driving and pressing device which can eliminate the need of using a two-staged gear fitted with a spring, position two loading posts under pressing by one urging device, and realize reduction of the size, weight and thickness. The invention further provides a loading post driving device in which a gear serving as a prime mover part has the two-stages structure to realize reduction of the size, weight and height, and driving force can be directly transmitted from the gear serving as a prime mover part to a large loading gear by using no geneva gear.

5369536 - Magnetic recording reproducing apparatus with stoppers for loading boats - Owned by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (Osaka,JP)

The invention relates to a loading mechanism for a magnetic recording/playback apparatus and is directed to provide a positioning mechanism which can reliably and fixedly position a loading boat with a quite simple structure when completing an operation of withdrawing a magnetic tape. The invention is also directed to provide a loading post driving and pressing device which can eliminate the need of using a two-staged gear fitted with a spring, position two loading posts under pressing by one urging means, and realize reduction of the size, weight and thickness. The invention is further directed to provide a loading post driving device in which a gear serving as a prime mover part has the two-stages structure to realize reduction of the size, weight and height, and driving force can be directly transmitted from the gear serving as a prime mover part to a large loading gear by using no geneva gear.

5233489 - Fast screen detecting device of VTR - Owned by SamSung Electronics Co., Ltd. (Suwon,KR)

A video tape recorder having a fast screen detecting device which includes a pinch lever which is driven by a master cam, and a control device comprising a brake lever for driving main brakes. The brake lever has a cam part in contact with the bent part of the pinch lever so that the brake lever is also driven by the master cam. Further, a guide post, driven by the master cam, partially loads video tape to enable control signal detection by a control head; the video tape in the partially loaded condition is not in contact with the head drum so that excessive tape wear is avoided.

5335877 - Device for exchanging a tape drive mode - Owned by Funai Electric Co., Ltd. (Daito,JP)

A device for exchanging a tape drive mode so to maintain a satisfied timing by which a tension mechanism for applying a tension to a tape between tape reels is kept to its tension place until the tape transport by a capstan roller together with a pinch roller is exerted after the power transmission is exchanged to either one of the tape reels for shifting the device from the playing/recording mode to the rewinding mode.
