A structure of a thermal head of the type using an ink paper or a heat-sensitive paper is disclosed. The structure includes an array of units each comprising a single resistance body and a pair of electrode members which respectively correspond to a first and a second heat-generating portions positioned at both ends of the resistance body, the electrode members being adapted to energize the resistance body. At least one of the first and second heat-generating portions of the resistance body is divided into a plurality of heat-generating members, and so is done one of the electrode members which is associated with those heat-generating members.
An improved thermal recording head having a large number of heating elements connected in parallel between a plurality of pairs of electrodes for recording halftone images is provided. Each of the heating elements has end portions divided into two leg sections, and the center portion is narrowed. This configuration allows the thermal recording head to reduce image-roughness to the naked eye. In addition, the variable range of recording density can be significantly expanded.
A thermal print head having a plurality of heating elements with each element having a central portion and two identical tails. Corresponding tails of adjacent heating elements are aligned and produce an interpolated dye image pixel.
This electrical control device with crosstalk correction includes several devices each electrically controllable by a limiter resistor. The current limiter resistors are resistive limiter elements in plane layers positioned on a first substrate face. At least one resistive coupling element is positioned transversally to each resistive element and interconnects these resistive elements. Applications include electrical control of electromagnetic or electrooptical devices, notably the control of magnetic write/read heads.
