5288118 - Building gutter cleaning implement

An implement is described for cleaning the gutters of a building wherein the implement is operated by pulling in a left-to-right or right-to-left scraping and scooping motion by a person standing on the ground. The implement comprises a longitudinal channel body, an inverted "U" shaped connecting bracket, an elongated handle and a pivot connection attaching the bracket to the handle. In the preferred embodiment, a remotely engagable locking feature is provided for the pivot connection and a separate pivotal member with integral end plate is specified to close either end of the channel body thereby forming a scoop.

6526619 - Gutter cleaning system

A gutter cleaning system has a shovel with a working surface and a connecting component. The connecting component is a rigid member. A handle has inboard and outboard components and a locking mechanism to vary the length of the handle. An adjustable holder has an inboard component coupled to the handle, an outboard component coupled to the shovel, and a locking bolt with a wingnut to vary the angle between the shovel and the handle.

6945577 - Rain gutter cleaning tool

The present invention is a uniquely designed gutter cleaning tool with no moving parts. Designed to move debris from elevated rain gutters by pulling it to an operator stationed on a ladder, to be scooped out and placed into a container. The preferred configuration conforms to the bottom of both K-style and half round gutters and includes a neck with an acme screw throat, protruding from a rectangular, two edged blade, positioned from the neck at an oblique angle. The head, when attached to an extension handle has a cleaning range of fourteen feet left and fourteen feet right for a total of twenty-eight feet from a set station.

7260866 - Device for clearing rain gutters

A gutter-clearing tool having a scoop-plate and a top-plate where the front end of the top-plate is pivotally attached to the top end of the scoop-plate, and the top plate is attached to a rod. A pivot joint allows the scoop-plate to close upwardly toward the top plate when the apparatus is pushed through the gutter thereby providing a substantially reduced vertical profile, and allows the scoop-plate to open downwardly away from the top plate when the apparatus is pulled through the gutter thereby collecting debris and clearing the gutter.
