A flanged beam with a web structure formed of a wire or strip-like member (2) bent to zigzag, meander or wave configuration, the bending spots (3) thereof being attached to the flanges (1). The specific feature of a beam performed according to the invention is that at least one flange (1) incorporates a flange section extending alongside this flange. The flange section, which is made of another material than the rest of the flange, is embedded in the flange and is cast to form a unit with it and with the bending spots (3) of the wire or strip-like member (2) which spots are connected with the flange.
A fiber reinforced plastic grid comprises at least one truss beam having a pair of parallel fiber reinforced plastic chord members and a series of fiber reinforced shear members thatg are arranged between the chord members, wherein at least at one node between a shear member and chord member the fibrous reinforcement of the shear member passes into the chord member so that this shear member and at least a section of a chord member can be made of a continuous string of fiber reinforced plastic material.
A spacing web frame assembly for a molded construction form for use in forming a reinforced concrete wall including a pair of inner and outer vertically-oriented attachment studs and a reinforcing wire truss assembly having ends attached to the inner and outer attachment studs to provide a predetermined spacing distance between the inner and outer attachment studs. The studs are visible to the outside when the molded foam panels are attached thereto and the concrete is then added to form the walls. The studs may be formed of either wood or metal, depending upon the type of attachment fasteners desired to be driven into the studs.
